nothing you did - you need some files to run VB6 programs, usually tons of programs install them as they install, seems like you don't have it

every time LFS gets updated, everything changes and LFSTweak must basically be re-written, and Fonnybone just can't be bothered, and is waiting for a more "permanent" release.

Plus it only works for the demo cars, so demo racers get something else to stop them getting S2!

I'm a complete Newbie with Lfs and the forums for it. So forgive my ignorance

But are either of the mods in my thread title compatable with the latest version of LFS?

I've found some old threads with the old mods but they don't appear to be compatably

Purely for messing around on single player with.

If anyone can link me to the latest version of each mod if they are compatable and/or explain how to use them i would be much gratefull.

no, mecanik only works for 0.5p and lfstweak is 0.5q


the are no versions for 0.5u

The beginners forum is a great source of info and to ask those more newbie questions, but questions about unofficial add-ons are best in the unofficial add-ons forum.
