Since I really enjoy the game, I've prepared a light shader tweak based on my personal preferences. It applies a small gamma correction that enhances colors, as well as a variation with improved dynamic contrast.

I recently discovered the shaders and was surprised I hadn't heard of them before. I'm not very active in the community, but I hope others will share their tweaks and contribute to improving the game.

This sounds a bit odd... I mean if we are looking shaders... are they realistic? is default enough realistic? Or are we TOTALLY looking something non-realism here?

I am not fanatic of total realism although I do support the idea, but as far as I know, Live for Speed is still considered Online Racing Simulator game which is related to vehicles to drive ( currently restricted on ground vehicles ). The keyword here is game.

So games are supposed to be fun. And in that case, yes I do support your thought on it.

Otherwise... I don't know. Some people wants this, some people wants that. Some people wants both or all of it, some people wants nothing of it.


Personally I am fine with current selection of shader: On / Off , but I do see your point of view. It all depends of where aand what this sim is aiming for as it is currently aiming for realism... at the same time of "realism".
