Lfs force view?
Hi,
today while playing lfs I tried to discover what where the forces being applied to my car and I found it a bit confusing...

The car is making the normal blackwood circuit and I identified the forces so that you guys could easly refer them later.
Here is the image:


My questions are:
What is that middle force (force 3) and where is it pointing to?
Is the force 4 the gravity force exercised by the wight of the car on that wheel?
Is force 1 the friction exercised by the acceleration of the car?
Is force 2 the force exercised by the wheel while the car is turning (left in the image)?
Where does the forces start from the point of the triangle or the base?

Force 1 is comming from wheels because you are accelerating.
Force 2 is becuase your wheel isnt straight.
Force 3 is because of air resistance.
Force 4 is car weight.
Force 1: It's the force the tire "pulls" the ground, which results in the car moving forward. If it gets Red, it means it's doing excess force.

Force 2: This one i believe it's the lateral force the tire produces? for the front tires it may be ok, since they can turn and produce a "lateral" force in relation to the car. for the back tires... maybe that's a result of the fron tires lat force?

Force 3: i believe it's the Longitudinal g force.

Force 4: i think it's the "normal" force, or a force contrary to the gravity times the mass of the car. having normal force means the tires have contact on the ground. That can be translated to the weight transfer. Go brake the car in that mode and you will notice the front wheels vertical forces will increase. Thats the weight "moving" to the front.

Force 1 - forward/backward force exerted on the tyre
Force 2 - lateral force
Force 3 - looks like drag?
Force 4 - force exerted on each damper/spring? Or simply just the weight distribution?

And looks like forces 1, 2, and 3 have the same origin, which seems to be the bottom of each tyre.
So the forces start at the point of the triangle and end on the base, is that right?

Yes. The point of the triangle is fixed and the base moves as the trangle "stretches", and the length of it simply represents the amount of force.
