On the topic of "roof scoops", I'll post a functional one for the Miata crowd.. instead of feeding the engine, it's for the driver though, haha. (no joke) Any who've driven one on a hot day can probably attest to how hot air seems to stay in the footwells, even with the top down and @ speed. Don't have any pics of mine mounted so I'll post one from the website. They're definitely worth the coin though and pop on/off in seconds.

This particular one claims 300bhp and doesn't have a silly roof scoop.

And this one is also Supercharged and claims similar power output.

No roof scoop there either... hmm

There's easily enough cooling coming from the side vents.

Your Speedster did look decent apart from the fact it's an Opel but now it looks about as tacky as this :

I suppose the god-awful rear bumper on that Opel Corsa is a diffuser then is it?

All this roof scoop is gonna do is cause drag, let in leaves and stones and other shit into the engine bay from above and create a higher pressure area in the engine bay causing even MORE drag.
if you don't like it does not mean that everyone else shouldn't like it either.

"boohoo, since it's so unpractical, look at me how smart I am thinking only practical'n sh*t y0..." been there, done that.

Installing one thing because of asthetics is one thing, but for someone to claim its for a practical benefit is what gets my goat.
You'd think we were discussing a FWD with a roof scoop & rear wing and/or a hood that resembles a cheese grater, lol.
why does talking with BlueFlame always feels like slamming a head to the concrete wall hoping it breaks up...

Go back to America ********!
No want, he'd only lower our already bad rep! (and aren't you 'murican? lol)
Blueflame, that brain of yours must be there because of aesthetics, cos I don't see the practical benefit whatsoever.

logikz
Incoming picdump. Save the crying and get better internet, its 2013.

Don't know if anyone cares much, but i went to an event called "Racewars"

A 2-day camping drag racing event where you camp out two nights on an airstrip 3 hours out of perth in the country/desert

400m standing drags
800m standing drags
1000m standing drags

400m roll on drags
800m roll on drags

Some of western Australias fastest street and exotic cars were out

1200hp monaro

the mx5 has a twin turbo LS1 in it

Aventador!

then that 1200hp monaro did a barrel roll, flew him out to perth as he had a severe concussion

so that is kinda like the drag festival from FnF.. did you race your cow?
A couple of SR20's will pull a premium before Racewars
No pics of the speedster for now, was too busy enjoying the GF's smile when putting the gas pedal to the floor... she thinks it's "orgasmic"...

At one point i stopped for a smoke, a little kid about four years old walked by with his parents, looked at the car and said to his dad: "dad, when i'm older i want a ferrari like this!".

Really impressed with the car i must say, compared to this the S2000 felt like a station wagon.

All I could think was:

Hahaha, I was thinking the same.
We also have an event called Race Wars in Belgium. Chavvy tuning event with people who resemble to the contestors of Jersey/Geordie Shore.

Only good thing over there is the drifting where I compete in..
Got some pictures this morning

Well I was giving ya the benefit of the doubt.
Sadly my car was kinda abused in winter, so it got big interior + exterior cleaning today. Also put the summer set on, spring is here.

That's cool

But somehow, I'd rather see build cars dragging, than some supercars. Don't know why
Klutch, what I see from your series of photos is.
Damn, you have so many cars.
I'd like to see some bigger embedded images because it's ****ing 2013.
Angry driving down a green lane at night time, never ends well. 100% my fault.
