Still clashes with LFSCART, but Since that is no team race it should be fine!

Depends...we have 6 drivers in lfscart...

We'd like to participate in this 24h race, but we will give priority to what is already started...lets see...

I thought of and discussed this conflict with deCesaris, and I said it probably won't be that much harm, the LFSCART round would take at most 3 hours and a few mins, and a team should be able to have a driver do that himself if he's brave / foolish to do 3hrs or you have a couple drivers who aren't doing LFSCART.

I thought you were doing to do 4hours straight anyway Fram ?

Well, a year ago we've changed our way of doing things and one of the main thing is we don't do too many leagues at the same times...specially not two different races on the same day. So instead of the 3 cars we were planning, only one will be possible ...

When I was your age yeah without problems, this days I would need some viagra to hold on so long!...or were you talking about something else?
Hi, great events

I don't know where to post this but, Anton (Zanzi) and me want to do this race, anyway we can't do 24h both so, If any team need some drivers !

Send PM
See you on the track
If you need a practice race, there will be a couple of two hour races over at our NDR.Klub Racing Tonight there will be the first one starting 18:30 UTC with a 5 minute pro forma qualifying followed by a 2 hour race.

EDIT: Server is up, event starts 18:30 UTC
So currently there are 32 teams signed up. Our goal was to have a full grid and if there isn't any withdraws, we will reach it.
Couple of teams should add some information before the pre-qualification. When sign ups are closed, I will send passwords to teams who
have given all needed information. So, I ask those teams who haven't given for example information of which car will they take,
to give that information as soon as possible.

If the situation remains the same (14 TBOs and 17 STDs), STD Class will gain one more car for the race.
One team hasn't chosen yet which class will they take.

Conversely to what I've told before to some people: pre-qualification, qualifying, race infos etc. will be in the LFS Forum,
so not in SAVAGE SimSports' forum .

Pre-qualification Info and Discussion thread will come soon.

Thanks to all teams who have signed up and who have been interested in the event. And of course, there is still room for more teams
Hi,

If any team needs one more driver, im up for it!
Send PM

So, I suppose I should remove spdoRacing from the list?
Pre-qualification is cancelled and we go with 31 cars if there won't be more withdrawing teams.

Qualifying information will be added in the forum tomorrow. Qualifying will be on September 30th.

You guys planning on using the test-patch for the 24h race? I do think there are some important improvements on how packets are sent from server to guests and back.

Example: Pit-stops, if you want to overtake the car and somebody is timing out or joining at the same moment you need to wait until the person timed out/joined in the "old" system, with the new test-patch this should instantly work without delay.

I'm sure there is more, faster joining times for example that would make using the test-patch interesting.

If the test patch is reliable enough, I am for it
At the moment there is a practice session in our server and I've sent passwords to managers. If you haven't received the password from your team mate, please send me a PM.
If anyone needs a driver, i am pretty much up for it.
You can find the event now from Facebook too!

I'm looking forward to team-up with anyone, so just let me know via pm

It's reliable enough. At least 06B8. So I am in for it too

Question regarding pit entry, is the yellow line rule enforced there?

If it is: right now the layout forces you to slow down on the apex of the last turn (at least in a tbo) which in turn creates a danger for drivers behind somebody trying to pit. Would it be possible to make that yellow line a bit shorter so you can start slowing after the apex where it would be safer to do?

imo i dont think it should be enforced, but only good sportsmanship if someone dives you down the inside, dont try to beat them around and cut them up

Thank you for pointing this out.

Yes, that is good to remember.

Indeed, that kind of entry line isn't safe and we haven't considered yellow line rule enforced there so far.

Though, I think enforcing yellow line rule would leave too big loophole to the rules. So, we will create a new entry line. If incident happened near to the entry, there would be so much unnecessary arguing.
Hello,
deCesaris Can you please reply to my pm asap.
Thanks a lot, Good luck to all

I've found nothing about the following things here, so I ask:

1) The rules say: "There must be at least one person per team in the irc channel during the race. Failure will be penalized."
I think we need to know the icr channel.

2) Same to teamspeak server...

3) What happens after disconnect of a single driver. Is the team allowed to rejoin and continue the race?

4) Will there be a tracker? If so, where will it be found?

1) The IRC channel stands for "Chat", in SAVAGE SimSports 24H -website. http://savage-simsports.com/24h/index.php/chat

2) I will send Teamspeak information to all teams soon (and the rest race information too of course)

3) Hm.. seems like I've forgotten to add it in G I&Rules.
If happens a disconnect or someone rolls the car, team is allowed to rejoin and -1lap penalty will be given. (I'll add this to official rules soon, too.)

4) There should be a tracker, though we have a bit problems with it so can't promise anything.
