I'd say yes. But mainly because of Baywatch. Actually, I only know the freedom-song of him and none other.

I've just downloaded (legal!) The Very Best of David Hasselhoff It's great fun, the songs are rubbish, except "Looking for Freedom". Well, that one's rubbish too, but at least it looks a bit more professional

I grew up with Knight Rider, so the Hoff is alright with me.

Besides, as you can see from that video, he doesn't mind making fun of himself, which I think is a really good thing in a person.

But I've only ever heard a couple of his songs and wasn't all that impressed
