It was because the BIOS version was not supported by the CPU I have. I flashed the BIOS and it worked Now I'm running LFS full FPS on full details all the time, great

i had a feeling a bios update would fix it. i have a similar gigabyte board and i've been keeping my bios' up2date. it was only a few weeks ago i saw the hex core fix. i'm glad he got it sorted out in the end.
