My brother in law is an illustrator and I want him to do a large canvas for me, he has a particular style I love and would rather harvest it than ask him to do something completely different.

I want a car of some sort on my wall, I was thinking something like this:

Rally related...but if you can recommend anything else...just when it comes down to it, my heads' kinda blank at the moment and he wants to start on it within the next 2 days.

I can't really describe his style so this is his blogspot. I will post the image once he's finished but because it's going on my wall I wouldn't mind a second opinion...and where better to ask it than here I thought.

I can't seem to find another few of the ones I really like, one I think is the picture used for Colin McRae memorial dvd's, with his '99 impreza about 20 feet in the air...a bit lop sided.

The other is like the first, maybe an 03 or 04 impreza, but it's a closer shot looking at the back of the car as it slides out behind a hairpin and in the background is some mega scenery.

Make sure you post the end project.

Thanks for your posts so far, I'm thinking actually I quite like the photograph Bawbag posted...I'm thinking a wee bit closer on the car, maybe a different angle (lower down) with the scenery remaining and change the roads to dirt roads just to get some dirt clouds....hmmmm

Not been to see the project since it started off as just lines but Tom my brother has posted a couple of photos of the work in progress yesterday...he's a quick worker and is working on something similar to your original posting as I liked the photo, as my request he's changed the Scooby to an Escort Cosworth, as well as the perspective a touch.
