VW Scirocco R
Er, since there is no news about the in-game Scirocco, I'd post some news on the real world one! There is a harder, better, faster and stronger one called the 'R.'
http://www.worldcarfans.com/90 ... cco-r-officially-revealed

It is much faster as well as better looking. it has 265bhp, and goes from 0-60 in just 6.4 seconds. Please do not be drivetrain haters and argue about it being FWD. Remember all the weight of a 4wd system.

But seriously I want one.... in LFS!
I have the perfect word for this....... YUMMY :yummy:
that is one very nice car

Fun-****ing-tastic looking car!
I love it.
Very purty, but i would rather have a golf R32. You cant beat the sound of that sweet 6.
Maybe this is why the devs have delayed the Scirocco.........

Sorry to get you patch hunters started, but I couldn't resist
Wheels are too big on modern cars. It looks a bit like the suspension has collapsed.

Apart from that it's okay.
hmm looks like that one from the ring. Anyway very sexy
Looks really lovely. But.... (sorry FF) it's FWD! Which is why it excites me as much as having it in LFS does. Not in the slightest.
ARRR, nice.
Nicest Volkswagen ever! The Standart Scirocco is already a beauty but this is just stunning!
Friend linked me a picture of this, think it looks very nice!

I would love to buy one, with the biggest engine and the DSG gearbox.
Why DSG box? Its a brill box, but i would rather have a h-gate.

because its ****ing brilliant!!!

My uncle has the new Golf and you don't even notice the shifts.
Yes, its a brilliant box but im just saying i would rather have a proper manual. Im not a fan of paddle shifting, and i dont ever want to own a car with paddle shifters.
Idk, something about them that just really is cool... No idea why.

Yes, but it doesnt only have flappy paddles but also launch control AND sequential stickshift.

Bah, you just like techno crap. And why have launch control when you got your right foot for the gas, and your left foot for the clutch? I would rather be doing the driving myself, not have computers do it for me thanks.

Btw, you do realise the DSG boxes are just a twin-clutch manual right? :P

No i don't like the techno crap :P and neither do i know any more of DSG than that. But i also like manual more so.

I agree in most cases I'd have a H-pattern over a flappy paddle, but the DSG I'd rather have because it's so quick.
Its actually a really simple design. Its just two input shafts one inside the other. One is for 1st, 3rd and 6th. The other for 2nd, 4th and 6th. Then one clutch holds one gear ready for you, while the other clutch has the gear you are already in, engaged. Thats why you dont notice the shifts. The clutch already has the next gear ready for you. Thats also why is so quick.

Hav driven the Scirocco DSG and manual, also drove 250bhp Leon Cupra with DSG.
The DSG boxes are great, good for everyday cruising in automatic mode and really fast shifters in sport mode. Except driving with the DSG boxes compared to proper manual is like having a rubber woman instead of a real one
now i need some paper to clean up this mess
