This is basically my first LFS video I've made.

And first of all, I do know that discussion about body mods is forbidden here (I think), but I don't see the moral problem with posting this so I posted.
If moderators, devs or someone in the powerhandle decides otherwise feel free to edit / delete / post in this thread or what you want.

And if it lightens someones heart, I'll just say the gameplay was done in my friends computer, because I don't own illegal mods.

It features AE86 drifting in Westhill and for one clip in South City too.

That is real good for first vid.
I loved the quality of recording, altought you could press shift+f even for lap times, some cameras wasnt my taste, but i like the footage you did.
Not bad at all man, keep working on those.

what Video app did you use to record the Replay ?
Lovely drifting, Camera was poor in places

Picking up from where Watson left, I'd like a bit of variety in a nearly 5 minute video since it felt like watching the same 1 minute video 5 times in a row, and a bit of editing and cuting when you're switching between cameras would do it good. Also at least a colour correction would be nice. And why didn't you remove the rest of the hud from the screen?

I kinda guessed that some may find it lacking some variety. But basically my idea was to make intro and then just simply play the one lap with few different cameras so I don't really know how to make it more interesting any more.
I did color correction, but didn't want it to be too aggressive to keep the footage more "raw gameplay". Dunno if it was good decision or not, some may like some may not.

You already have it, it's called the XRT.

The devs should really start handling this car modding thing.
It even seems this mod also has a new (ugly) interior.. this could get out of hand..

Nice video anyway.

Interior is bad(... maybe not exacly bad... average :P), but it looks vgood on the outside(details are pretty decent ). It is possible to find it on the internet(although it is difficult :P) and after installing the mod XRG is invisible :P.

As far as I know the devs have already dealt with car moding, at least all they can do.

It is prohibited to share modificatons for LFS on the LFS forums, but thats about all they can do realy. People will always mod something if they find a way.

LFS even has a lable for moded games in the server list, I saw it just the other day. It was a server running an Audi quatro in place of the RB4 if I remember correctly, I coulden't join because I don't have the mod myself. I considered reporting it to the devs, but if they already have a label that pops up they already know.

As for the AE86, I personaly prefer the hatchback version, its weight is closer to 50/50 than the coupe. But I woulden't drift one if I had it, I'd build a wicked race machine out of it.
