What's the point, better create a 1000000000000000x1000000000000000km track with a start point in centre, it will help testing top speeds.

And what could that top speed info possibly be needed for? If you want to know the top speeds then take Bob's VHPA - it will tell you with reasonable accuracy how fast you could (but never will) go in the car of your choice.

hmm hehe, It would be very "cruel" when 20 - 30 racers are racing in 20km long straight, to fight about paces and positions and of course, reaching top speed... Then I call it Live For Speed...

I´m just joking =) LFS is more than reaching top speed, but it would be very, very interesting
