When another car hits an object to which your computer (which is watching the car) which by your computers account has busted a spring the car will proceed without a spring. However if this happens and the other computer says 'nope the springs fine' the GUI for damage updates back to a normal state but the car will continue with a broken spring bouncing around because on the other end the car is actually sitting differentlt because the spring isn't broken.
Why not try this? Go online, or do some really good singleplayer racing. (or better yet grab a league replay) and set up one computer to broadcast to a multitude of monitors? Theres a plugin called LFS Show that will go through a selected amount of replays over and over for game presentations. Shame that Ive never gotten the program to work
The brake assist is 1 channel abs. Not usefull at all. True ABS would be very useful to the late trail braker. Real abs would brake and unbrake the 1 wheel that is locked. The lfs brake assist brakes and unbrakes all 4 wheels.
I personally would like some 'off the wall tracks' like blackwood with a mandatory jump that you have to survive inorder to finish a lap. There was an s1 server once where there were about 3 people racing it. It was truly great fun.
Other ideas like a make your own chicane on certain tracks. I spices up the game a great deal to try something different with other people. Much like Bangar racing.
Really weird. After unpluggin and plugging back in (to reset it) and killing the wingman (which helps put alot of shortcuts on the wheel) the throttle hang and spontanious re calibration problems went away... wtf? figure that out.
My pedals are chronicly losing all calibration in LFS.(DFP) Ill be racing down the straight and get no throttle and brake. So I have to frantically pump the gas/brake to recalibrate them. Ive even used the 'lock calibration in LFS'.
My second problem is after 1.5 hours play the pedals stop getting their position updated. (Throttle only). So I can floor it and lift off and it will stick floored until a button is presses, brake is touched, or steering is moved. The throttle only has its position updated with brake or steering input.
Needless to say these to faults make league racing a new frustration and Im quickly looking for quick fixes. I know the pot in the throttle is a bit jumpy in a certain spot.
After a little bit of trouble free racing my throttle becomes 'stuck'. in a sort of way. It will only become unstuck if another input is recognised (steering, button, brake). If I exit LFS the problem presists in the Profiler.
