Oh no, one of the most LFS-unique bugs is gone Frown

I took a trip down the memory lane and watched some of my old endurance replays and would like to ask if it's possible to add a function to use /setlap to override position order in multiplayer replays to sort out problems with timeout'd players. Even better if you could write your changes with mpr timestamps to some external file so that there's no need to change things all over again.

Wishful thinking from my side, again, probably. Uhmm

Button will come back to Brackley IMO. Merc have got two rookies lined up for the near future, so chasing an experienced, contracted driver in his prime seems pointless in the long term.

I'm sure that it's been mentioned already, but I hope that while you're working on the new tire model you'll consider making changes to the durability of different slick compounds in different car types, so that it becomes possible to make two or even three stints on the same set of tires in GTR. Another thing would be to be albe to use two or three different compounds without any setup changes in BF1 (I believe F1 teams tested many different designer compounds during 2006 season, and I'm pretty sure they had no qualifying R2 tires).

It could be a good idea to revise slipstream and dirty air effects as well. Right now, the hole left behind by big formula cars is so severe, that it's totally impossible to follow in the quicker corners - I recall Jenson Button saying that you don't even feel that you're losing that much time in the dirty air. The slipstream effect should probably be smaller and more progressive, i.e. coming into force a little bit sooner, even over a second on high-speed tracks with the BF1. You could argue that the current slipstream allows for easier overtaking, but IMO a lot of fun is lost when you're shooting off the track when trying to stay close, especially in FO8 and BF1, instead of doing so and passing further down the straight or in the braking zone.

Having to click some 10-20 times in order to set the position I want is a bit frustrating, wouldn't it be better if the adjustment kept progressing when holding the LMB?

So we ended up using a generic racing mirror.

Why don't remove those altogether and see what people think? It would be interesting to race with other drivers depending only on head movement, IMO

I've got a question unrelated to recent changes.
As somebody who uses high-res skin download from time to time, could it be possible to load skins from skins_y folder even when having standard-res skins selected for downloading? That way you could save up your remaining skin downloads for later (special events for example) and not having to download low-res skins which you already have in higher resolution.

Is it possible to get the PB laptimes in car selection menu downloaded only from finished race results in the LFSW's Online Race Results? That way I could get around having pointless hotlaps shown there, which you can display with a simple command anyways.

I've noticed that my skins are visibly more smudged in newer patches, compared to pre-new Westhill releases. I've always had all the mip biases set to 0.0, to smoothen the background. Any chance to fix those skin definition problems (check the front of the roof area).
