Glad you read every rulebook for every league you've raced in Phil!

Quote from Timdpr :Oh you bitch...we're on the full one, ACTUALLY. And our little crappy karts have AWESOME RACING CLUTCHES FITTED ESPECIALLY. Take that.

The clutches so you don't destroy them lap one? I might come down and watch, if I do I'll see you there, I'm the fat one in the cowboy hat!

You know what I think? I think LFS isn't going through a particular slump, it's just cycling around. Those that have stayed with the sim since its beginnings are starting to get bored of the game, as any of us would. Then there's you guys. Guys that have been here for 2 or 3 years, and are still motivated. As the guys that have become the aliens of this world leave us, we step into their place. We become the MoE grade, and the new talents of this sim will take our place in GTAL, and soon they'll flourish and become MoE grade.

Is this not one of the best things that's happened for us lot in LFS? It's a natural cycle is it not? Sweeping out the tired and bringing in the new and motivated? In my opinion, if we improve and put ourselves in the game for a new style MoE next year, in the same format as previous, this could be the best thing that's happened to us LFSers in the time we've been playing.

Just a theory that nobody will agree with!

Quote from RiseAgainstMe! :on the subject of spending money, I was wondering the other day what it takes to buy advertising in a high-level racing series, say BTCC. I know there are a few teams that are strapped for cash, maybe they'll slap a LFS sticker on for 5 bucks?

I had an LFS sticker on my kart, but it fell off on the way to its first race. Epic fail but it's the thought that counts!

Quote from Timdpr :Cheers

There's a race on this Friday btw, in case you want to watch us pootle around (or decide to thrash us comprehensively).

I don't know the little rubbish track, I'd never thrash you. Might see you there though

Quote from tmehlinger :Edit: also of note, there weren't any pit exit infractions in the feature and only one (SEB SEB SEB SEB SEB) in the sprint. You guys (not Seb) are all pretty smart, congrats.

I nearly did! I was so bloody close and thought "I'd better not do that." and went "Aaaaah!" back into the exit lines!

Quote from JayEyeBee :While the admins did just fine, some credit must go to the racers. While I'm sure there were questionable or reviewable moves, it seems that this race managed to avoid a lot of the mayhem that seems to be plaguing some LFS series.
My sprint race was going fine, I managed to find someone to fight for position, but timed out (a little weird; not a hint of lag, then blam-o). Starting from far back in the main race, I again found the same racer to fight.
Perhaps a highlight was the fuel starvation of Seb and Wilko, in what appears to be exactly the same spot. Seb was nice enough to let me push him around for a bit until we ran into pik-d.

We meant to do that...

Was good racing for me. I totally failed in Race 1 by having 3% fuel onboard. Race 2 was going great, and then me and Reno had some 'fun' and then I managed to clout my new team mate Ed rather hard!

And then of course, me and Seb failed.

Quote from JPeace :But that is wrong, because we had other valid laps, because we were 8th for ages with a 2.29 lap time.

On a pit in lap rather obviously. I don't know the reasoning of the rule or anything like that, so don't start having a go at me, but inlaps have not been counted as valid laps for qualifying.

Quote from kart-36 :Deko why am i nearly last?

Because you lost your fastest time because of Timo's in session chat, and all other laps were on put entry, which isn't a valid lap by the looks of things.

Quote from Wilko868 :The MPR is completed with releative ease now, I had the Vette and Mosport handy so I just ran a few TTs to get them done.

The SR... well, that could be tricky...

OK, sod that mentality. Just got my A licence after a days work in the Skip. See you two on track in the IndyCar or DP soon!

Quote from StableX :the choices are to get your B license up to 4.0 by driving C and lower class cars then drive the A class off the bat or drive cars like the vette. Personally, I'd get to 4.0 and go for the DP Riley, which I love. Also, if you get to 4.0 and drive an A class Car, that can count toward your needed MPR to progress from B to A, without needing to buy a class B!

The MPR is completed with releative ease now, I had the Vette and Mosport handy so I just ran a few TTs to get them done.

The SR... well, that could be tricky...

New post up folks, just giving the link to the official results on Karting.co.uk. Also added some more photos on the side bar while we wait for the official ones from this round.

Check it if you're interested.

Quote from Drift King CZ :BTW, the content part is somehow cutted in the latest Opera . I guess the sidebar div is overlaying it.

I know, I don't know how to fix it. I'll work on it...

Quote from Timdpr :Anyway, well done! Now you can't complain about not having trophies anymore. Do they give ones any different to the a+d races?

Thanks alot Tim . Uuuuh, I only got one from the old Junior Race Nights, and my current collection of 5 owner driver podiums look little different to the one I got for my Race Night podium. We still need to meet up one day and have a bit of on track fun!

Quote from Timo1992 :Wilko you kart freak xD

nah good luck in the future, hope you enjoy it

Thanks alot Timo I'm loving it and still will for some time yet...

Quote from SCA-F1 :Nice bit of drifting there Wilko Arrrrrrrrrrrrr Ooooooohhhh Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
