* Notice yellow flag!

Pit In:
* Attention by pitting out! -> racing Line and end of pit lane are equal!
* By pitting out: respect traffic and blueflag by returning back on track!

Based on two requests via pm here our statement for the -1 lap penalty after a disconnect or rejoin:

We do not change this rule or make exceptions of it.

Reason: The DoP Tour is a "Five Rule Endurance Series". It is a basic competition without a big set of rules or regulations, and we would not leave this way.

At the moment we have 30 teams. So only two more teams could join!
http://www.bc-racing.de/Burnou ... /index.php?navigation=dop

An additional grid is possible, if we have more than 40 SignIn's
[till 2010-02-19 /t 16:00 (UTC +1)].

If we don't reach the minimum number of 40 teams for a second grid, but we have even more than 32 teams we'll have these procedure:

Priority by placing the starting grid:
1. DoP Teams are listed! (participation in one of the last DoP 2010 races)
2. The GTR-Teams will be numerically restricted (LRF' and N-GTR' Teams are not limited)
3. According to the driven qualify results GTR Teams could start.
4. If we have 40 teams, 1. -3. is history. The distribution will be strikly the qualify result: even placed in the qualify (Grid 1 Server), uneven placed in the qualify (Grid 2 Server)

Last but not least:
No permission for driver without driven 75 minimum laps!

Quote from troy :i would like to remind the competitors that the smaller classes (especially lrf) can't just change their line in the middle/coming out of the corner, it is a tough track for multiclass racing and i hope everybody treats their opponents with the respect they deserve.

The last DoP prelude before the 24 hours mainevent comes here!

Sign-In for next race on Fern Bay Gold Rev is open now.

There is a little change in sign in I would like to explain. All teams from the first three races are still available. But the team-leader has to confirm the team for next race. Only confirmed teams are allowed to start next event. You may have a look at DoP-Home to see wether your team is confirmed to next event or not.

http://www.bc-racing.de/Burnou ... /index.php?navigation=dop

If you wish to change drivers feel free by using the Sign-In-Server. In case the leader leaves the team, another driver of the team becomes leader automaticly. If the leader leaves the team and no other driver is left, the team will be invisible but could be hijackt by another driver! So you should be careful!

Even new teams can sign in, too!

22 teams in three classes and with seven serveral cars have had the full excitement of a strong endurance competition. Only one team left during this race, so a great compliment at all. For sure a fair race, and a very good enhancement to the DoP 2009! Great work! One of the biggest endurance highligt is waiting, but before we will have a 90min visit in Fernbay.

A short lfsworld news follows

All results are here:

Main Race: 3rd Race / Dez, 12th 2009
* MEZ 07.00 (GMT 06.00): Server OPEN
* MEZ 08.00 (GMT 07.00): 12h Race START

Race permission denied:

Only the start driver is allowed to join the server!
Otherwise a 'Drive-through-penalty' may be given!

Race facts for a 12h endurance race:
* You will not win in the first lap, even not in the first or second corner!
* Respect competition and smaller car classes!
* Respect blue flag!
* Notice yellow flag!

Pit Stop:

* Notice the Layout by pitting in and out!
* By pitting out: respect traffic and blueflag by returning back on track!

The track has two largely sections:
The infield & most important
* Keep in mind that smaller car classes than yours are owner of the racing line!
* At T1 / left corner, do not underestimate the pace and breaking point smaller classes
* Careless casualties will be punished with DT!
The oval (only the half of it)
* Careful overtaking smaller car classes
* Be caution with the draft!

In general valid:
* Careless overtaking endangers other teams, so drive clean and fair!

Appreciation:
It is still possible to join each of these five events. If you or your team join for the whole team compitition, your team have to sign in for each race. If you're only interest in one race - join this only.

Now it's your turn to move to our qualify-server (DoP - Qualify) and give your very best to qualify for the next race.
All previously driven laps are deleted. So every driver has at least ten laps for qualify. Keep in mind, laps are counted after you pass first split, even in- and out-laps!

The Qualify-Session will end on 2009-12-11 at 22:00 (UTC +1).
The Sign-In-Server will close two hours before at 20:00 (UTC +1).

After the Sign-In-Server is closed, there's no more chance to change your team!

Team-Leaders should have a look at their teams. Some fake-drivers could have joined and have to be deleted by the team-leaders. To prevent you from fake-joins simply close the team using the Sign-In-Server. If nessecary the leader may re-open it there too.

Good luck and strong nerves!

Terrible start in this competition. My teammate Klaus has had two discos in his first lap. So, two reconnects plus two laps penalty. After this desaster I joined with a gap of 5 laps this race. Recently three minutes were driven.

We were well prepared and trained but without any chance. We hoped to have good fights with HoR LX6 and CR FZ50, it was nothing. That is racing, too.

But I felt excited. In so many years of LFS I never saw so many blue flags. I have had one little crash. Yes, the traffic was still amazing. I think all teams have done a good job. Some GTR teams have to improve their skill or their mindset. It will win in each class the fast and best quality. Not the most aggressive style. That is LFS! Otherwise, in 78 laps with 32 drivers, you won't get such a competition without contact. That is the other side.

2 Admins gave penalties, DT's and we will have a look on the replay

Gratz to all, esp the Winners of each class.

With a little bit more luck we as 'LX6 Honks' really enjoy next part. The 12 hours event, with this grid, or a second grid. Thanks for racing.
