This is the most sensefull way to avoid burnout. That's the way I function too, and it makes progress slower, inspiration is like waves on a beach, they come, and vanish, and another comes and vanishes.

That discussion went too far in noise level anyway, usually I warn people that JaR is not the place for those sensible topics, but some of them are important nonetheless, like Russians opening threads on this forum, to make it clear to others that they dont agree with Poutine and such. Fact is I am very easily triggered by direct offenses and insults, the kick/ban buttons work a lot on JaR server.
But well, I would not kick or ban someone writing me "you must be a boring person and a spoiled child". I even wouldnt receive it as an offense, but rather see it as a comment from someone who strongly disagrees with me, wich is perfectly ok even if it has a harsch and strong phrasing.
When I read this comment, it is my choice to take it as an insult or not.

Each ban has a context, you can't judge a decision without it.

So, in short, in real world we would have someone crashing someone else, and that person responsible would say "hey chill my friend" to the police when they arrest him, and they would let him go free.
You should try it, maybe it works IRL, but here is not IRL, it happened on JaR, and we are not corrupt.

@neo u won a 30d ban, yasso is already permed

we've had some bad crashes on server, probably related with that update :
sound goes off and fps down to < 10
lfs then need a restart to recover sound
at least 4 users had this today

I got it yesterday with D26, it was so bad it even corrupted my LFS.exe file wich was "not a valid exe" anymore. Never seen this before.

you should be able to join again

maybe simply avoid pay for things that u can find for free elsewhere
in anyway, tweak is mostly obsolete, make your own mod with editor instead.

well u're right and I had doubts very much too, but I tested a lot of export options before posting and am rly puzzled with that.
so I tried with editor 0.7C and still have that issue, alright.

I test like 15x exports with different options again on 0.7C, I don't get it working no matter what I try. Seems there is some bug somewhere in LW.
No clue, but i'll find another way.

well, I updated Editor to D33
now it seems I cant import an obj with smoothing groups anymore
I am using same options which worked before update, so am a bit confused about why it doesnt work as expected

here is some test files with 3 angled polys
on first object "test" I have set all polys with same group at export
editor will load with one group per face.
on second object I have set 2 groups, one with 1 poly, the other with 2 polys
editor will load with one group per face.

I cant attach obj file in that post : "file type not permitted", so i put a zip archive
