It was one of the classic laps and an inspiration to me ( I was only about 18 at that time).

If you have followed his career (not just his driving) you will know that he always gave everything, be it the days when he was winning everything or the days when he was in the BMW down 200HP on the top guys, the work with his foundation, the trees he planted on his property or his lifestyle choices. It is called passion and he had lots of it.

The media reports say his hand was tightly clasp around the steering wheel when they got to him and couldn't find a pulse .......

He gave 11/10ths always. Please view this example (I taped it of TV many years ago, excuse the poor quality)

ok, I'll look into that and I'll revisit a softer / higher setup with more downforce and see if that can get me through that section faster ... without pulling time out of other sections.

What kind of tyre pressure / camber are others using ? I found about 20 PSI with 3 - 3.5 Deg Neg on the front works well (for hotlapping) and about 2 deg in the rear with about 20 PSI also.

Yeah I went through the soft setup stage, and the car feels more stable over bumps and can ride over the ripple strips easily when it is higher and softer. but feels less stable under brakes and I found better lap times with a low, stiff setup.

Technically though, yes, I need more travel in the suspension as it is often at full travel.

I've been doing a few Hotlaps in the FZR at SO City Classic recently.

I'm doing 42's most of the time and pull out a kamikaze high 1's every now and then. But that is just it, I can't get the speed through the blind S section like some of the other guys ahead of me in the hotlap ladder.

This is my current best Hot Lap, a 41.74

When I look at the lap using F1PerView the place I am slower than those quicker than me is through those S's, but I just can't get the car to hook up if I go in any faster.

Any tips on how to get through that section a few KM's faster ? I've chased the setup from here to timbucktoo and back.
