In all seriousness, I think you are missing the point. Bernie is a notoriously tough and effective negotiator; playing down the importance of a US GP is all part of the negotiation process.
By getting your feathers all ruffled over press like this, you are simply confirming your status as an F1 "mark".
For your sake, hopefully Tony George and the IMS aren't so gullible...
What exactly are you basing that on? A hunch? Becky and SamH both have evidence to back up their claims. You, on the other hand, just look like a fool.
Hey why not I don't see you coming up with any solutions to this probem? I'm trying to help the devs and the community and you just wanna yell at me! I bet your one of the peopel who were yelling at me on the server the other night what is wrong with my suggestion?
What really annoys me is that no one on the forum seems to want to talk about this issue It seems like everyoen is too scared to say anything about the blue flags because they don't wanna upset the devs.
But the devs rock and by creating this thread on blue flags I think we can let them know about this problem and then the game will get even better!
I think we should have a staggered system of shaded flags. When a faster driver is approaching, but say they are over a kilometre away, you should get a sky blue flag. As they get closer, the flags get darker. This is the flag order system I propose:
Sky blue
Powder blue
Periwinkle
Dodger blue
Cornflower blue
Azure
International klein blue
Royal blue
Cobalt blue
Cerulean
Denim
Steel blue
Ultramarine
Sapphire
Dark blue
Indigo
I think should make the whole flag system much more informative and user friendly. Thoughts?

Reason : mum proof read it for me
I've been searching the forums for weeks trying to find a thread on blue flags but couldn't find anything! So I decided to make a thread dedicated solely to the issue of blue flags. It's time we got this out into the open for some healthy debate. For too long it seems everyone has been ignoring the blue flag problem. But not any more!
I was racing the other day and some idiot kept on yelling at me "blue flag! Get out of the way!" Then he rammed me into the wall! I was so mad because not only did he wreck my race but I spilled my chocolate milk! My mum was so angry, then she yelled at me too! Then other people were yelling at me to move my car back to the pits after I got crashed off the road! Why is everyone always yelling? My mum said it's because I don't listen.
9. Americans can't take a joke and will get all pissy if anyone ever tries to have a laught at America's expense. In fact, they will even take silly statistics that people post in order to bolster their joke seriously and start asking for a sources!
A new little snippet of info from Mark Blundell at www.itv-f1.com
Lewis Hamilton was reported to have put in eight hours of driving a day in the McLaren simulator whilst preparing for his rookie season. Can you tell us more about the nature of F1 simulators and what it involves?

These are high-tech race car simulators that can be used for driving a new circuit, setting up a car, changing a part and getting feedback, and can even apply some forces that the driver will feel physically in the car on the track.
They are very much the trend at the moment and I think more and more teams will use them, as they are great to evaluate drivers and compare data without spending huge amounts of money on track testing with a rookie.
And of course there is no risk.
But at the end of the day they still don’t replace the real thing!
Riiiiight. I'm with you. It won't help, but it is useful? I'm glad we cleared that up.
I think you should send a memo to McLaren outlining how they have wasted up to $60,000,000 and thousands of hours of time on an unhelpful useful machine. Fax it to Attn: Ron Dennis, c/o McLaren. Oh, and don't forget to stamp it "URGENT!"
I don't think Hayden makes it into the "top tier" of MotoGP. At the moment, it's Rossi, Pedrosa and Stoner. Melandri is perhaps nipping at their heels.
I used to put Capirossi in that top tier group as well but he seems to have gone off the boil the last couple of seasons. Perhaps it was after his big accident last year?
Hayden was very lucky to win the championship last year (especially after the incident with Pedrosa!) given his level of pace.
