Heh, that's beacause (In my opinion ofc) I find FBM the most fun car to drive with reasonable number of active drivers XFG/XRG are slow (you can't feel that true racing atmosphere, but even though I like to take a seat in one of them from time to time), and S2 content? You can look for crowded servers (even cargame recently) with a candle..
Nah, FBM is the only reasonable demo car XFG/XRG@BL1 is boring as hell. Proper FBM race with experienced drivers making wheel to wheel battles on each corner, when 7 or 10 drivers pass finish line in 1 second gap is something you'll never see on races with these grandpa's cars
The problem with FBM demo servers is that there are many masters of straights and daredevils who think they can win a race after 1st turn and who claim the whole track surface is their property and you are the intruder on it. That's why 50% of races are restarted after few seconds and you can see a flame war on chat.
The problem is that GTA has undriveable physics... After I bought GTA V and got amazed by beautiful world I talked to myself "Why the hell doesn't it have LFS physics?!?!"
I know, there will come many many mods that improve vehicles handling, but it will never be the same.
He he, I had to buy additional 4 GB of ram for GTA V becase with only 4 GB it was stuttering due to loading stuff from HDD (Same thing as with NFS most wanted in 2005 when I had to buy additional 256MB)
Scawen, don't feel despondent by all these people complaining about how poorly 0.6H is optimized. Maybe it's optimized so good that all their PC's are going into power saving modes and have poor framerate? Because I didn't notice any FPS loss on non-rebuilt tracks whatsoever...
Why not some brand new car?
How many XR variations do you want to have in LFS? It's like to have Golf 1.6, 1.4TSI, 2.0TDI, GTD and GTI in one game. What for?
Hmm..
The fun making and using new big and crazy layouts spoils one thing:
When you move away from track it starts to disappear:
While driving the whole environment around you starts to flicker which is very distracting.
Can be done anything about that? Anything like this never happened in previous versions of LFS.
