What? Disabled? It's the first time I hear about this I'll look up at how to enable this stuff back.
Regardig gauges - actually no, I'm lack of free time unfortunately to play with LFS nowadays, but after your words I'm gonna finish them What's the deadline?
EDIT:
Ok, private messaging enabled Dunno why it got disabled..
Yeee that would be cool! I've always dreamed for a game like let's say Test Drive Unlimited (or even GTA when it comes to simple vehicle fun in multiplayer) with Live for Speed physics... That would be epic.
I can tell you why there are still no such car types - take a look at the inscription on the top of site, next to LFS logo
...I still hope this original LFS' "car classes" won't last too long when S3 somes out and we'll have a possibility to make our own stuff... Everyone will be happy, racers, drifters, masters of straight and even those turkish convoy clan pists stunters!
So my conclusion is - getting beyond the alpha (in technical way) stage is crucial, and then the content. Official or user-made.
Hmm, I had similar problem - couldn't join most of the servers that I play on (MRc, AA, Animal, GD). It turned out that the administartor of the hosting blocked a range of IP's that some of them were making DDOS attacs and my IP was also within that range.
Maybe you also suffer from such operation?
All I do when I want to drive an endurance race (instead of 3- or 4-lap sprints) is to change brake balance from 65% to 67% Front. It will help you keep the tyres a bit colder, especially rears - after such operation it's not a big deal to maintain temperature under 90 degrees on hottest part of the tyre - talking about R1's
I also do quite a lot of mountain biking, as well as some stuff on skateparks
For now I have a normal Scott XC bicycle with 19" frame (a bit too big) and RS Reba with 115mm travel. Even though it's just an ordinary XC stuff I try to push all trails to its (and bicycle's) limits
I'm considering buing some more advanced bicycle (Enduro, maybe slopestye/freeride one?) in the future if I manage to get some free cash to spend.
Here's my video showing pretty much exciting trail on a scarp in my neighbourhood, almost like a white trail in Arizona hehe
(skip to 1:00 to bypass uphill climb)
And here's quite an old video of my skatepark riding on a 24" MTB
PS. nice Gopro mount, Bmxtwins Thought the recorded video would be more shaky. Is it original Gopro exuipment?
R2's are much slower, I would suggest you to run on R1's, they can last for at least 30+ laps with ease if you treat them well Just avoid slides and try to drive as smooth as possible!
For me with let's say 1:12,3 - 1:12,5 hotlap I can keep low 13's during long races.
I noticed that too but didn't want to mention about it and start new discussion.. But indeed, after 1-2 weeks of activity peak associated with Westhill update now the average number of players is even lower than before 0.6H. It used to be around 1000 players in busiest hours few months ago, now it hardly exceeds 800. That's a pity, sometimes it's hard to find any server with decent number of racers among dozens of always full turkish drag-drift pists.
