Quote from S14 DRIFT :ED30 alloys went for £900 on ebay and they needed new tyres as well.

:jawdrop:

Plenty of BBS replica ones though for about £500 with budget tyres.

I think you should keep your polo tbh.

Tyres aren't that big of a problem for me, I get them at cost + 10% anyway

Standard MK5's look decent but I despise those alloys they come with, If I did buy one I would end up buying a set of ED30 alloys/something similar haha. And I know what you mean, the difference between 6n and 6n2 Polo's is amazing, same with Golfs of the same age, the later MK4's drive so much nicer than earlier ones

Yeah the Golf R looks amazing, I wouldn't say no to a MK5 R32 either! Who can say no to that V6 soundtrack..

There is still loads of things I need to sort out on the damn thing, but it's in great condtion for an 11 year old car It does look good though, I'm always catching people having a look at it in carparks and when it's parked up

I really want a MK5 Golf GTI, Edition 30 is the one I REALLY want, maybe in a few years

Thanks, buddy! I may sell up next month but it all depends on how my insurance renewal comes through, though I think I would regret selling the Polo if I did

Quote from Bawbag :Look good but I would stick with a similar silver, you'd be surprised at just how good that "usual" color looks when fresh.

Failing that, pink, just not black!

Agreed, this was my wheels the day I got them back

It doesn't look right, but it works lol. Actually, we have a customer with an MG ZT-T (estate one?) and he swears by the vredesteins, he won't put anything else on his car

Quote from Jakg :225/45/18 Ultrac Sessanta's (x2) - £110

Tyres on the back have a slow puncture, and for £110 (Camskill want £126 each!) I couldn't say no.

Wise choice, great tyres!

Yeah I got a pair of surrounds on ebay for like £12

Also, http://www.dubmeister.co.uk/dealer-locator/ Just pop your post-code in and see if there's anywhere near you. Then just call in with your V5 and order them, go back in a couple of days and pick them up!

Pretty much how it will look

There's a difference between "shitty" and just plain dangerous

Did a tyre on a Scirocco on Tuesday and the sticker on the petrol cap said the pressure is 33psi both front and rear (18 inch wheels) It was a TSI but not sure if it was the 200bhp version

Quote from S14 DRIFT :Missed a bit on those wheels, (or is that the pitting you were mentioning?) tbh wonder wheels would do just as good for 1/10th of price

Still, shiney enough.

I read Wonder Wheels is pretty acidic

The NASCAR one isn't that bad really, I had a few spins but was right behind the leader by the finish and came second

Quote from speed1230 :I have that but I had no chance against that washing machine car since it kept spinning me out
As for B-Spec, that might take a long time...

I span him out at the start of the race at Monaco haha The LP400 was miles quicker than all the other cars though

Quote from speed1230 :Anyone got a historic racecar 1979 or earlier?
I just haven't got the money to get a GT40 from the UCD

Use the LP400 Just need to buy every upgrade and some racing tyres. Watch out for one of the Chaparrals (the washing machine-looking one) because it's stupidly quick at Monaco
