Why would anyone think that it's acceptable for Isaac to say something like that? Just because you are on the internet doesn't mean you can say anything you want and not feel guilty about it...I would like to see Isaac say that in real life in front of a crowd that he's not familiar with. There's no reason to have such behavior, it's immature.
I truly think that this is the time when most of us should take a rest from LFS. It was a great run, but we really just have to take a step back for now. Let's just hope that the future holds something bright for us...during this time, we can just sit back and perhaps enjoy something else...that should help us get the motivation back that most of us were lacking, including me.
Everything will eventually get better, we just have to be patient.
CBA to rent it, I'm clearly not that serious about it..I just want to buy the whole game completely and enjoy it as it is..not rent it once in a while just to enjoy myself. o_O
There was nothing wrong with cones / barriers / bales being put on the track - those objects weren't on the racing line and didn't ruin anyone's racing (perhaps except that one moment when you had barriers that forced you to enter the pit lane on SO).
So yeah..perhaps next time Dave could just announce if something specific is going to happen / change during a race, otherwise you end up with people being upset for a rather silly reason. Heh, taking public racing that serious these days must be a new META!
The chat yesterday was absolutely brilliant. I also loved how pako_customize was trying to ram Mikee off all the time, but pretty much didn't succeed ^_^.. =D
Sporting Code has nothing to do with it...especially when Gutholz was kind enough to show us an example of your behavior above! Maybe that might be another reason why the attendance is not that high considering some certain people that get the access to actually compete, even though considering their actions they shouldn't?.. You know, less chance for someone to ruin the whole thing for others!
It's not about the music...it's the same thing going on and on again. There's no change in the rhythm. It's not entertaining by any means when you have the same thing going on and on again. There's no change in pattern..
I like the idea that you have come up with, but I don't think that it's any good to have the same thing going on and on for 5 minutes! You know, it's pretty much continuous..
And still, it wouldn't be enough to have a full grid! It's not like everyone will want to drive GT2 with the same old content...personally, I would lack motivation to practice at all and currently I am not motivated....in fact, who even is? That surely would be fun to drive a 6/12/24h race when most of the people around you simply wouldn't care if they put any effort in preparing for the event or not.. :/
And I'm not hundred percent sure if your will to participate this year has changed, Ray. You surely seem very keen to participate, but your actions in the past have proven otherwise. Surely barrel rolling your cars on purpose is a great way to show your initiative!
Not sure if...if the attendance will be any better compared to last year. LFS needs a rather refreshing update, otherwise people most likely won't bother even to sign up.
...talking about finishing the whole season.
Also, there are some other endurance races happening and I'm not completely sure if splitting the audience would be a great idea in the current state of LFS.
