Nice mod! IMO best bus mod out there. No nonsense, just a modern bus. Very gud.
But I have 2 suggestions:
- Side markers don't light up. It would would be nice if they light up when you press 3.
- Visibility to the right is bad. It would better if the front door would be transparent from the inside out. Picture:
I just have a few suggestions:
- Make a config with tinted windows, but without the police lights.
- Remove the pops and bangs when you let go off the throttle, I think that it doesn't fit the character of the car. Its a big sedan, not a M3.
But from my personal experience, I noticed how when its in Drive and at a standstill with foot on the brake, the clutch doesn't push as bad. But like when you slowly lift you foot off the brake, at some point the clutch will start to engage. Lets say for intstance between 0% and 20% brake pedal, the clutch engages abit (tends to creep) and like 20% to 100% brake pedal, the clutch is full disengaged.
However im not that familiar with all the technical things, but this bit from my experience
Many (if not most) double clutch transmissions have a creepmode build/programmed in it. Like Volkwagens DSG, which can also be found in many other cars by the Volkswagen group.
Even single clutch automatic transmissions (aka Automated manuals, aka semi automatics) have a sort of creep mode build in, but not all of them. I know older Smart models don't creep. Also the Selespeed transmission from Alfa/Fiat doesn't creep. But like the Sensodrive transmission from Citroën does creep. So does the Easytronic or whatever the name is, by Opel.
And yes, because it don't have a torque converter but a clutch, it works different, and manuafactors can simply choose (or dont) to have a creepmode build in it.
Maybe its because automatic tranny drivers are used to it, maybe its just bc convenience (like for instance, parking). Maybe just to emulate a traditional (tc) automatic.
Ok. But I dont see anything about the default car colors (RGB) getting an update. The update is more like the graphics things, right? Like the total look of the game and objects/
Since the 0.6V update the MRT can now be equipped with road tyres.
On cruise servers the MRT with slicks was pretty fun, especially in corners.
However, I noticed how it now handles worse with roadtyres on the road. It tends to understeer quite fast. I think this could be solved by giving it some wider tyres.
If they would add a way to choose a tyres size for MRT (bigger/wider), that would make the MRT more attractive to drive on cruise server again.
I have this small suggestion after the 0.6V update:
Since UFR and XFR can now be fitted with hybrid and knobbly tyres, maybe add a default rallycross setup in the garage? So the suspension/gearing/wheels will be ready for rallying. Players will also be able to build their own set from this Default rally set.
I know there was once some mod out there that made the automatic shifting more logic.
But my suggestion is that they will implent a more realistic shifting behaviour.
The idea is that when you don't floor it, like when you're just cruising on some cruise server, the automatic transmission will upshift faster, and not keep the needle in the power band all of the time. So lets say you speed up to 100kmh, and then you keep driving that, with like 10% throttle imput, after a few seconds, it will shift up to like 5th gear @2000 rpm or so.
This way the engine will not keep screaming at 6k rpm when you're in some 120kmh zone.
Since I'm fond of driving automatic myself, I have a suggestion:
Add an option for a "creep mode".
So when the player has automatic clutch/automatic shifting selected, have an option to let the automatic clutch slip a little, even when the engine is idling.
When you let go off the brake, the auto-clutch will automaticly engage just slightly, as if it were a real automatic transmission. In real life, you'll see this on most automatic cars, even some semi automatics (automated manuals) come with this feature programmed in the ecu/computer.
To get the idea, please search for "tesla creepmode" on youtube.
I know Tesla is electric, but it gives you the idea of what I mean.
Yea I agree with that they got there stuff well managed, but I think TC is not that good as a cruise server, but more like a cops and robbers server. Just driving around isnt always that fun since the insim thing will punish you if you speed too much or whatever. Plus sometimes there is just alot of stuff on the road, which sometimes creates a very small/tight driving space. For example overpass.
