Works perfectly Just use a non-german proxy for your Browser temporary. Check this site for public proxys. US proxys work for sure, others i didn't try.
LoL what is this  looks like driving LFS against AI drivers
You dont make the Car unrealistic, you just cover LFS physics flaws with a locked diff. The handling of an open diff hatchback in LFS is so unrealistic unless u change your setup to unrealistic values. But agree nothing else then open diff for Uf1k.
If you realy like to try, i can suggest Atitool . It has an automatic OC mode which works amazingly well. It can read your GPU temp. and can read and control the GPU fan if your card is supported.
LOL Fuel Tanks are limited by 90Liters not xx KG. Gasoline HAS approximately 15% less energy per unit of volume then diesel. Gasoline IS approximately 15% lighter then Diesel per unit of volume.
Sure a race diesel will be so different from a road engine, but it's the same for every racing otto engine. Ricardo showed their diesel 'concept study' based on a V10 judd reduced to 4.6 Liter. Ricardo's prediction for this engine is 637PS@5500rpm, 850Nm@4000rpm , 10% less fuel consumption under full load , 20% less fuel in the Range of 80% max.Rev, 165kg weight.
But your right they have a lot of work to do. Not becouse of the throttle response but the engines are not allowed to produce any visible smoke. Then they have to make the engine lighter, if they would just modify a usal diesel engine it would be to havy and would have too much torque killing every gearbox. Taurus Sport tried a modifyed 5L v10 VW Tuareg engine and failed miserabel. Just the engine weighed about 290kg which is nearly 1/3 of the 900kg limit. And even with reduced torque the clutch or gearbox failed alternating.
Will a Diesel win in LeMans? experts say yes! Because diesels are overreached by the regulations. The are allowed to use the same air restrictor size and are allowed to carry the same amount of fuel.
But Audi probably won't show 'everything' 2006 , because pegeaut planned a diesel for 2007.
I've just installed Nforce 81.95 drivers and benchmarked it vs. 81.85. The new driver is a little bit fast , at least it's not slower Tested with a 7800gtx.
Yes , please someone do a .raf->.ld converter. So people who bought GTR can make at least some use of their product . I'm sure i saw a description of Motec's .ld format i just can't find it now
F1perfview is good , but Motec Interpreter is better, much better.
Edit: Just found this , but thats not what i'm looking for
Maybe you shouldn just read the first post. Theres one guy having problems with a 4200 X2 , while others don't. If you would read more you would have noticed that there are people with good single cores rigs and bad FPS too. And even that one guy with the problem said:
And you go and state dual cores have a problem ... now illepall urself. God just check lfsbench and see what FPS a P4 2.8 Ghz can do.
If that P820 would be mine , i would exchange it with a P640. Or i would try to overclock that P820. There are many people running P820 at the 4Ghz range with propper cooling.
Sure did i touched my slicks which i use on trackdays. Have you ever tryed to clean a hot dirty slick with your hand? You would be surprised how easy dirt goes off. Grass and sand can be removed with a wipe of your hand. Some smaller stones which are stuck in the slick, needs more force to remove, but you don't need a screwdriver or something. But pieces of rubber that you picked up needs some force to be removed, especially when the slick is cold again. Then you need a 'hot-air blower' and a putty to remove these rubber pieces. Not to mention that there isn't just on compound on the market , 'soft and sticky'.
I think in LFS dirt is faked rather then simulated(faked, like the physics in GTR are faked).
People do drive off the track IRL where it makes sense, mostly cutting the inside.
I thought about this some time. And i think, the griploss with fully dirty tires is fair but it last way,way to long. The tire should loose massive dirt when rejoining the track in short time. And by short time i mean something like 2-4 wheelrotations. After these 2-4 wheelrotations there should only be a small amount of dirt on the tire, which should be hardly noticeable. The rest of dirt should go away within "some corners".
Road normals should loose more dirt (all dirt?) after 2-4 Wheelrotatios then slicks.
I think the review and points are good. I mean which other game with an outdated grafik and soundengine could get 5/10?
I can't see how people still use that "S2 is Alpha" argument for protecion. If S2 is alpha what was S1 then? Would be a nice trick for Microsoft too "well here's our new Windows , it's alpha but please pay for it. And if you find bugs or you are missing some features, don't go on our nerves, its alpha."
At least since i play/know LFS, tyre physics/parameters had changed 2 times. And there was some kind of discussion before. If Scawen was influenced by that discussion ... only he knows.
I think Sinbad is very right , here's a video which 'proofs' that. Look at car#42 he got dirt on all wheels , and can keep up with the cars infront at the next corner.

btw. video shows Zanardi's first win after his crash.
You can see it , but you still need the skill to do it
I guess you didn't try out the Mod cos your talking WR all the time. You can not extract a ghostlap from any WR .spr file. You have to record your own ghost. Or if people upload ghostcars you can use them.
But what realy sucks about the mod is the fact that it can be used in multiplayerraces when you have admin access on the server your playing.
I would even say we need more the 2 way per travel direction. LFS has so many different cars and tracks (rallyx) that you need different damper characterictics. Somekind of "damper equalizer" and a damper-graph showing the damper characterictics
