Thanks Sam.

Well, I have no comment to make on Niko other than what has been said already. We are (I hope) still friends so it wasn't THAT bad

Nice shots of my crashes there. None of mine are as good as Jamie's roll after hitting the barrier then carrying on like nothing happened

So which of you nubs is gonna drive with me in the next BoTT? The combo is UFR/XFR at Westhill. 50 laps.

Hm, the E6750 has a 1333MHz FSB, should my mobo have at least the same? Will there be a big performance difference going with a 1066 mobo?

I think I'll get the StealthXStream one, pricing stuff up on Aria now (hence the mobo question) Thanks for helping

I said it isn't the one that came with my case...

I was planning to buy it all from Overclockers UK (www.overclockers.co.uk) but I might get some/all of it from Aria (www.aria.co.uk). Hm, decisions

No, its not the generic PSU that came with my case, its an Akasa one. I'm still not sure what wattage it is but I've found a similar one (with blue LEDs shining on the fan) that is 400w, hence me thinking it's 400 watts. I'll check it in a few minutes.

Another few reasons for keeping it the same - the main appeal of the series is the four hour races and that is what I signed up for, 4 hours, not 500 miles. For my team, at least, it makes it very easy to sort out drivers, each does an hour stint but with 500 miles, well, we can work round it but meh, I'd prefer the four hours. Also, I hate to say it but doing 500 miles makes it very "NASCAR-ish" but the idea of endurance racing and the series is generally a European style (if you get my meaning :shrug

And yeah, those wimps who voted but didn't post, show your face

EDIT: It's Leifde not Leidfe (My name is Danny btw, please call me that, I kinda don't like my username)

Expensive about £76, I think I'm gonna go for a cheaper one, I don't need SLI for a start...

Hm, what would you recommend for a PSU? 500, 600?
400 watt PSU enough for C2D + 8800GTS?

I'm planning to upgrade my PC to a C2D and get a better gpu while I'm at it.

I'm planning on a C2D E6750, Asus P5N-E, 2GB PC2-6400 RAM and an 8800GTS 320mb. I'm not entirely sure what rating my PSU is but I THINK it's 400w. I'm thinking that isn't enough, am I right?

Yeah, it's an endurance series with driver swaps, leave it at 4 hours.

Boo.

So yeah, I decided new school year, new start for Moo. We also passed our 6 month anniversary a couple of weeks ago.

From now on I'm gonna be watching you lot VERY carefully Also on the cards is an overhaul of the website (something I've been promising for months now).

I'm also going to try to be more active on LFS

Alright, SOME good racing. There were plenty of moments at the Old Hairpin where it could have all ended badly but they somehow got through cleanly (I didn't watch much at other points), I guess the bad driving does sort of overbalance it when it was like that.

Saturday, IMO, was much better than Sunday. It was less busy (although it was still quite hard to find a spot on the grass in some places) and there weren't as many of the safety car periods. The Megane race was pretty funny with a fair number of the cars running out of fuel before the finish (except for that one guy that got taken out by the weaving leader)

I didn't bother trying to get on the simulators, the queue was ridiculous and, after all, I went for the racing.

Fun weekend, good racing.

My dad got video of the R26 doing a donut on the startline and also the big FR2.0 Eurocup crash (one ended up rolling down part of Craner Curves)

Very busy, took us a good 3 hours to get home (should only take 1.5 hours). Took about an hour and a bit to get in on Saturday, only about 20 mins on Sunday since we got there early (about 8:30)
