The technology may have already been proven; but this is still a great achievement for mankind, if not in technology, then in the logistics and drive from the private sector to accomplish a common goal.

This is the future of private sector space apparel. The investment is long term in that they are making the venture for when the time comes. The broadcast is chump-change compared to the investments on the development on that suit.

The launch was postponed last Tuesday due to heavy wind conditions, best of luck to them today!
