Guys this is too far offtopic... Plz stick to it plzz....
And nope indeed there is no better game then LFS... But you can get bored after years of driving or can ya???
Not bored of the gameplay or the races, but its the tracks...
Now give others the chance to reply, we dont need guys who tend to give their thoughts about other ppl their reply's... Everyone has a different opinion and lets respect that ok?
Erm i guess YOU cant decide for Die hards if they are not bored by the game do you??? Thatswhy were running this small poll to see what the majority thinks...
A bit of the same thing i said isnt it???
But you say you dont see the purpose of this poll, so youre basically saying this thread is useless like all other 50% of the topics on here... Well i doubt that very much my fellow driver, then this game wouldnt be on the level it is right now... If you find it useless why bother posting then???
Rite, well ok... Thats your opinion then... Im definitly not someone like that. In my eyes, i see myself as a hardcore LFS driver, its someone who plays it every day for several hours, knowing every track inside out, and having a fair share of driven kilometers, in my eyes thats a Hardcore lfs driver.
According to the replys and the poll here you can say most of us want it, so whats the point in saying that im deciding for other ppl... Maybe i have put that sentence in a unlucky way, and i should have put it in a different way, so sorry for that then.
There is no need to make such a fuzzz about nothing, also your thinking that i want to force the devellopers making new tracks ASAP... Like i said before thats absolutely not the idea behind this. We dont need any rants for that. Its purely to see what others think, and maybe to give away a signal of what we would like next...
We dont know what the devellopers have in mind for us in the next patch... We cant demand anything from them, we only can give away problems with the software, improvement suggestions and give away signals of what the LFS community would like to see next. Thatswhy we have this forum to make the game better.
I waited long with this thread because it seems ppl see it as another track discussion topic with moaning ppl, and often you get discussions running out of hand, we dont need that offcourse.
I thought it was the right time to post and see how other people think about it.
Anyways, carry on giving opinions guys... And who knows what the devvs have in mind for us in the next patch...
Ow and plz no discussions about other guys, everyone is free to say what they want to say what they think. No matter if they have done 10k or 100k miles or kilometeres... But i think that amateur drivers dont have such a view of the game, as professional drivers who have been racing LFS since the DEMO or S1.
Dawm licensed since 2005 and still only 35 posts... HAHAHAHHAHA....
Well, guys keep to the point dont wander around too much about other things then the tracks ok.
TBH, i have most race games LEAGAL offcourse, atm im playing more and more and more Rfactor for instance then LFS, ok i will drive LFS for leagues etc, but still, if those leageu's werent there, i probably wouldnt be driving LFS at all AGAIN till a new patch...
For the die hard drivers its just getting boring, i made this thread because i felt i needed to post it, its getting on my nerves that im bored with the best race game...
Even if i would stop racing for lets say 6 months, it wont do any good, i can drive the tracks blind if i must... I only will loose some speed, the game will stay boring. Stopping for some time is not an option...
Only the online leagues keep me playing LFS sofar.... But i notice im training not very much for league races, normally i would do 1000km a day to train and setup, at this moment im like, ok 1 hour is enough...
The poll sofar tells me, that we need new tracks, its clear enough most of us are quite happy but we all almost agree on the fact that we need more places to race...
Anyways, lets wait and see what others have to say...
Well the Sauber isnt a very usefull car in LFS IMO... Its rather useless, close racing in combination with that car is useless... Althoug the so called noobs seem to like it on the kyoto oval going flat out...
Seems my feeling is supported by many others...
Hope one of the devellopers can say something too, maybe lift a little of the curtain... Of things we maybe dont know...
I think 2 configurations of a track is ok, but only if they feel that it has been done in a good way, in LFS i have too often the feeling about a config that its not done in a proper way that the track doesnt feel right.
Most modern real life tracks have often a short and a long layout.
Anyways, im really really really hoping for some new tracks, but im afraid if we dont get new tracks that my interest in the game will flow away... I have the feeling that since i got licensed in august 2005 that i havent seen anything new if its about the tracks. The game itself has made some huge steps forward but the rest is standing still...
In this thread i would like to see how other drivers look @ LFS and its tracks.
For some time now ive been thinking about the tracks in LFS, tbh im getting more and more annoyed with LFS, its not the game, but it are the tracks, and rather the lack of new tracks, imo LFS needs a serious track injection, we need new and realistic designed tracks without dodgy small extra layouts.
The circuits how they are atm are getting boring, or have strange track sections were you can think, how on earth have they made this.
Atm only the Aston circuit is somewhat realistic in my eyes. Its the only circuit with a good balance between high speed and slow speed corners, and the only track i enjoy driving on. For instance Kyoto National is too boring with too much simular speed corners, the problem with most of the lfs tracks is that they havent got much difference in the corner speeds, Blackwood is a typical layout which has too much corners with the same corner speed... Its not only the Kyoto layouts which are boring or have very strange chicanes... More tracks have really strange corners or chicanes, Fern bay for instance... But enough about the tracks we have... This thread is about new tracks.
Atm im dying for some new and good designed tracks, the game as it is atm is quite good without major buggs etc, i think its time for some new tracks, instead of a new patch, i think loads of guys will agree with me that we need some new tracks asap.
If i look at myself i see that im driving more and more different race games such as Rfactor... LFS imo is getting boring, if it comes to the tracks. Not the gameplay that is.
IMO there still is no game that comes near the gameplay of LFS, but other devellopers arent standing still. LFS needs to expand its track database, to keep it interesting. I dont know how difficult it is to build tracks for LFS but this year we havent seen any new ones.
Dont get me wrong, i have a deep respect for the devellopers offcourse what they have done sofar, but we really could do with some new tracks. See this as a emergency call from a hardcore LFS driver.
Maybe the less hardcore drivers wont have this problem, i think the hardcore guys will know what i feel when racing in LFS...
Dont get me wrong with this topic by the way, i dont wanna force the devellopers in making new tracks instantly offcourse, i would like to see what the community thinks what we need next, thatswhy ive made a small poll to see what you guys think.
It also would be nice if a develloper could reply to this, give his thoughts etc...
Organisatie
Hmm some interesting options, wadda you guys think about just delete that hole section and just put it straight to the last chicane?? I think you get a real nice combination of top speed and downforce, and loads of fighting and if you brake too late you would end up in de gravel... I think it would be the nicest option.
An other idea is to make a really fast left right corner, and offcourse a busstop like idea is a bit heavvy but its the most easiest option, you could add some walls and your finisht.
But then you would need a negative degree corner there so that the first one is like 200 degrees and very slow, and then another thight right hander, also slow...
I got a thing here what most ppl will also see as one of the most frustrating track sections ever.
Its the track KY GP Long and the its the last section of the track comming out of the oval curve. After that you get a really silly chicane which always causes damage to the suspension, and going slow isnt an option there.
I dunno who designed this track, the Kyoto combo's arent very good but the GP Long version is good apart from that one small section which ruines the track completly, imo why didnt they made that section just a extra long straight till the last chicane, its more easy and it delivers more overtaking chances and fighting opportuneties. And braking too late would result in a visit to the kitty litter.
Anyways, imo the track developer should have a look @ the tracks, because KY GP LONG isnt the only mess up, there are more weird track sections on other combo's which could have been better then they are now.
Schumacher helped develop corners on tracks, i think it would be nice if we could talk about this with the devs and eventually see things chance for the good.
What are your thoughts about the KY GP LONG Chicane??? Also other track bottlenecks are welcome plz post.
SOOO strange, i mean i spun on that left hander in front of this corner nothing special no damage, then i got back on the track started accelerating and suddenly i was flying skyhigh...
Got a replay for the devvs if they would like, contact me on MSN [email protected]
Right few days left till 2007 we still are searching for 2 fast DUTCH and active guys for in our .NL team, new starting drivers are also welcome.

If you would like this contact me or sign up @ the forum.
Well see m8, first off you get a trial period to see if he fits in... Your gonna race with all the guys, atm the european division isnt ready yet so untill then youre gonna race with all the dutch and belgium guys...
Well there isnt a connection to MG m8 great cars, but our team has nothing todo with it....
Hello lads we of Xpower Racing are in the search for international drivers atm we are a dutch only team but in Januari 2007 we also gonna have a international section of the clan, and we could use a member or 4 5 for this.
You need to be active and enthousiastic, we dont care about your speed, you will get the speed as soon as you start driving with us, we got enough knowledge with setups.
Atm we are the champions of holland with the LFS league @ www.simracing.nl Our driver Johnny Koning alias Mister X won the championship...

Main priority is fun the second one is winning, we got one aim and thats winning... We are driving against teams like 1st racing ocrana ati rubber ducky racing and many international teams... Final Gear
The international website is getting online in Januari.
we need around 10 international drivers 4 spots are taken and we could use 2 or 3 Dutch guys, we dont want to get too many members @ the same time because of teambuilding etc... So the places are limited.
The difference between us and the other teams is like this, most of the teams are invitation only and they only invite you when your very good, we do things different, we help ppl to get faster with support in driving technique and setups... We dont have much rules other then be fun make fun and enjoy the game, speed wil come with practise...
Dunno who is organizing these races but imo do something FFFS, we dont have any passwords for the race YET, we dont have any details of servers etc... There hasnt been any decision about the times etc... We have too much ppl applying for the races, list arent updated of the ppl who are driving... Plz do something...
IMO the organizers are a bit lazy atm... GUYS wake up...!!!
Otherwise its doomed to fail... if you organize something plz do it well... And dont do thing in the last 10 minuts...
ATM its not looking good...:chairs:
I want something CLEAR:
Race time:
Password:
Server???:
Pitstops?:
Updated driver list:
And how long does the races need to take?? IMO atleast 1 hour with 1 pitstop the longer the better... We need to take a look @ the circuits 1 hour racetime we need to figure out how many laps that is per circuit...
