It would work great...if we didn't have a group of juvenile posters here. Because of that, I envision 2-3 people who will give each other "thanks" until they reach hundreds, if not thousands of them.
And I think the ones who do that, should be banned for a period of time.
Jimi Hendrix had synesthesia. Which is why a) he was a brilliant artist and b) if you think listen to certain songs, you can "hear" the colors he was translating.
Like any Impreza WRX or RS, see how first and second gear feel to you. If it has been abused, it has a hard time getting into first, second and third. Some (chavs) people stupidly rev the engine to 4000 RPM's and do all wheel drive burnouts, or power shift from first to second, which kill the trannys. Period.
Headgaskets from those years also have a tendency to blow out. But id it is fixed once, there should be no problem.
I myself own a 2007 WRX, and I work in parts for a Subaru dealer.
Oldie, but a goodie. I had spent quite a few hours watching the progress. It is not a game, but just entertaining. Kind of like a Rube Goldberg machine demonstration.
When I was 13...I thought I knew it all. Boy, was I wrong.
When I turned 18, I thought I had life by the tail...and quickly realized that I was just "birthed" into being an adult.
when I turned 30, I came to the realization of what I just posted above. I guess what I am trying to say is, that if you treat every day, month and year as an experience to learn from, you will benefit deeply. Age is not always a mark of wisdom, just experience in life. Those who think their age grants them wisdom, revel in ignorance and foolish pride. In my time, I have met foolish senior citizens and children that carry the weight of the world with them.
Boy, this thread turned ugly. I just wanted to point out the utter absurdity of carbon offsets...it a scheme that only con artists, bunko men and grifters could dream up.
Since the virtual cars we drive burn a lot virtual fuel, I think that the players of Live For Speed should pay a tax based on the percentage of miles and fuel burnt.
For example if in a year, you drive 10,000 virtual miles and burn 5,000 virtual liters of fuel, you should pay 50% of the cost of an S2 licence. This way you can drive any time without the guilt of polluting the environment.
My sarcas-o-meter is pegging...Are you going to also call me a "septic"? That would round out your rather nasty response. Sorry I haven't done full, extensive AND exhaustive research on every single vehicle that putts around the UK and Europe.
Anyhow, I was basing my thoughts on information that I know from what was sold in the US. The Contour (Mondeo) either came with a 2.0 liter or a 2.5 liter (just remembered that), both were wheezy, anemic and not performance oriented. Then in the Contours last few years, they came out with the Contour SVT, which produced 200 HP from the V6.
I like the idea of the Pro Drive Impreza...I being a fan of the G10 body. I have a 2007 WRX that will be stuffed with Cosworth parts sometime in the near future.
So, yay for the Subaru.
Meh for the Ford. Take off all that Halfords fantasy stuff that just adds unneeded weight, paint it flat black, and it would be a pretty bad ass sleeper.
Hmmm...got facts to back the claim up? Dyno sheets? Quarter mile times? If it is indeed a normal 3.0 liter I can only think that forced induction could get those kind of numbers. IIRC, a bog standard 3 liter puts out, what, 160-170 HP?
Truth be known, to me at least, it looks like a "all show, no go" car.
So what you are saying...is that to prove that you are not a spammer, by making a rather unneeded thread about it, then bump it to reinforce your original statement. That you do not make for the most part, useless posts.
I am also interested in the Brooklyn Bridge and swampland in Florida you seem so keen to sell me.
