Those reflections look good in the from-above shots while they don't look as cool in the pics which were took at ground level.
In the first pic, for example, there's even the reflection of a red truck (?).

Some of the reflections are cool but some are just a bit too invasive.

Nice location and car, a bit of variations would have helped.

It gets quite hard to motivate a team, aswell as myself, to keep fighting to keep the team interested in LFS, a team that has taken 8 years to build. When they want to move to other sims, what am I supposed to say? The new patch is coming soon?

I can completely understand that physics take a long time etc etc, but we, as committed members of the community, deserve to know what kind of time frame we are working to here (IMHO)... Will it take weeks? Months? Another 2 years?

Whatever that may be, please let us know, then we can move on to other sims if we so wish, and come back to LFS when the patch is released (maybe).

The present situation, where we have no idea if the patch could be released in the next week, or next 10 years, is really not the best way to treat us IMHO....

It costs alot of money and time to keep teams running in LFS. Then we have the organisers of leagues... It costs them a huge amount of time and manpower, aswell as cash to run these events, from server costs, to broadcasting etc etc.... With no news, there is a good chance that these leagues will simply die. Leagues like Masters of Endurance, which epitomises the best things about LFS, might be lost, for good. We have already lost some great teams (and more great racers btw) from the community, and we cannot afford to lose anymore and my honest opinion is that the current situation is doing no good to LFS in the long term.

And anyone who dares say to me, play other sims, come back when the patch is released can GTFO... They don't run a team and pay for servers, website, teamspeak etc etc. Taking a break is not an option for a team. It is all or nothing. If SR left LFS to play something else as a team, there is a good chance we wouldn't be back..

This is such a nice post, you set some nice points to discuss onto and did it clearly.

That's not the way to make it become popular.
It's still a simulator that requires important investments in time and patience. Most of the FB people won't really bother.

Still, there isn't anything official which is a FACT.

The fact is there are no signs of life from the devs and frankly it looks like they don't bother that much. I could be wrong, maybe i am, but that's the impression many of us are getting.
Any official championship, any contest? Nothing...
It's perfectly fine if they got sick of this thing but it's really strange that some people seem to care more than they do.

I like the fact that we're not speaking to a corporate here and i'm glad money is not the FIRST thing those 3 are looking for out of this project.
But it would be really nice if one could say what he's up to right now, after all there's a community waiting for news and i think many of us are pretty sick of those continuous sliding.
In other words, there's no sense to let some people think you will pay attention to them and then do whatever you want like you were on your own.
It's not honest, truth is always appreciated.
We are all waiting for a release otherwise we wouldn't be on this forum on a regular basis.

I went through Scawen's last posts and i couldn't find nothing of interest.
If we add the fact that he doesn't either read the forum or listen to the people's question or suggestion we have a clear picture of the situation.
Looks like you can't be say any more than "they're working on it" and frankly that statement isn't giving me any topic to chat onto.
You could have just said that you don't have any clue about what to say, that would have been much more fair of you.
