How this virtual wind blows is clearly seen when you do burnout and watch in some external view. Smokemod recommended.

Technically, there is point to point course already. Drag strip, and also can do it on autox.

Well, this easy to find out after you get all 858 charts with a script from pubstats.

Quote from BWX232 :It just gets so boring with so few tracks.

Checked your online stats... there seem to be lot of tracks you haven't done single lap on.

Quote from mrbogeyman :e.g. I delete the #4 then hold Ctrl to re-enter the correct colour then just type in #3.

Hmm your "workaround" seems better!

Oh and about older versions... Does new master not support those at all any more or just older versions don't know where to connect? In later case master IP could be easily changed in lfs.exe. Also some very old versions have possibility to configure Master IP right in game.

Quote from Scawen :Ian : I think colour codes are correctly ignored. But codepage changes are not ignored. If you can find a reproducable case where one seems wrong, I'd like to know about it.

Have this problem quite some time already but was too lazy to report... Usually last server I connected to is "[dSRC] Battle Grounds #X", where X is number 1-5. Now if I go to "connect to specific server", I can't just replace that number to connect to some other of our servers, have to delete all name with color codes & type it all again (works without color codes).

Here's one also: http://hx.pri.ee/dsrc/dice.php. It's not totally absolutely random though, time at hour resolution is used as seed.

Press alt + space right after going from LFS to desktop. Sometimes this reveals program that stole focus.

I think it's quite pointless to hack it like this... Doubt this streaming would work properly. That's something for Scawen to implement.

Replay system & MPR format needs updating anyway.

Eric's work is sure nice, but having only one designer leads to everything having kinda same style, both cars & tracks.

What you are using here is jpg but has gif extension. Maybe that's the problem?

I'm listening to Cars.

Info for MPR could also show racer names? Much helpful figuring out what race exactly it is.

For me, driving in chase view in LFS is closer to real life driving experience. Because of peripheral vision (trying to drive in cockpit gives me kinda half-blind feeling), + seeing back end of car compensates for not feeling forces. Also viewpoint is bit higher than other views, so I can see track better - can't use high resolutions with my not so high end hardware. So obviously I do drive in view that feels best for me.

But I don't go "muahahaha" about people who use other views.

Also I don't understand what has oval to do with this topic?

Not only mirror but also ability to look around and set as default view. Maybe I'm wrong but this should be work of minutes, as other legal views have all this... :/

Oh well... Just the way you described it seems quite cumbersome. How many parameters "press" takes is up to you tho , and it wouldn't be that hard to keep track of what key was last pressed, I guess? Would be much easier for user.

Anyhow, thanks again for that Enter thingy.

Seems like a poor design to me - why not just "press F9 F10"?

First, thanks for putting in my suggestion about Enter key for race setup screen. But second, unfortunately there's problem with this too. The join function doesn't work unless you are first to join the grid, i.e. works only if large button on bottom right says "no drivers", otherwise Enter key sets "Ready" without joining grid first.

Also my idea was that Enter key should toggle "Ready", i.e. be equivalent to clicking that large button on bottom right corner, no matter what's written on it.

Thank you for attention. :-)

I like that quick track selection, good idea. But as already said, there should be way to select reverse configs from there too, best probably done with on/off "Reverse" button below tracks list.

Hotdog was talkin about downforce not force feedback.

And that can be adjusted in pit stop (change from F12 menu). But all that is off-topic again... :/

One event could be every time when car is put on track (in grid or pits). Unfortunately I have use for it...

InSim still outputs real speed I hope?
