Quote from harjun :my reputation is fine, its just some peoples minds are affected by my present by sheer arrogance and immaturity.

That sentence is wrong on so many levels I don't even know where to start

Hope the watercooling goes well, catch you later.

Quote from harjun :Thank you.
and seriosly though, if you guys think £100 is a lot of money for something which is going to last a year or so, you are wrong. I can be getting around 40 pence a day and earn more than £100 for as long as the cpu will last.

...you should have just stopped at thank you, pb32000 made the point much better.

£100 is a fair amount of money no matter how long whatever it is you buy is supposed to last. I have £57 in my bank and wish I had £100 to splash out on a new monitor or something.

I'm not having a go at you, I agree with pb3200, it's just going to take a while for you to shake off your reputation so just bare that in mind when you post certain things.

Everything you could possibly need to know has already been asked and answered many, many times.

The search function is the best option for you

Quote from S14 DRIFT :There's a plug that goes into a socket near the CPU, which powers it. If it's not plugged in it will all come on but nothing will happen.

...it isn't plugged in...that's the whole point of this thread

Wow, you're the only person to ever do that. You must be totally amazing.....

Quote from Jakg :Installed a new FSP 700w PSU and now the PC won't boot - the lights on the mobo come on, so it has power, but pressing the power button or shorting the pins does nothing...

My board has an 8-pin connector in the top-left corner - my old PSU had the connector, but my new one doesn't - could this being unplugged be the reason? If so - where do I get one from?

I thought you were clever with computers?

Mine has the 4pin power one and if I don't plug it in it does that....

You might be able to get away with the 4pin?

This is the LFS general forum about LFS the game.

You have your very own thread full of pages and pages of your thoughts in the Off Topic section if you need to keep expressing yourself DO IT IN THE THREAD YOU ALREADY HAVE!

Talking about flying, reading minds and dreams you've had has nothing to do with LFS or even the topic of this thread.

Keep to the relevant section, thats why they are there!

Ok, this has gone beyond a joke (not that it was ever funny) now, I've report this thread a spam.

This has nothing to do with whatever point you were trying to make at the start and even that was about wrecking people.

Please keep to the topic, your ramblings do not belong here.

Quote from lerts :but weren we discussing how i used the force to make that guy make himself the pit instead of myself having to turn the wheel?

No, that was just you.

Stop talking/typing Lerts the thread was none sense before you started with the flying shit, that's why people get pissed off with you (it's not hate) you just talk bollocks and people get sick of it, even more so when it's in the game specific parts of the forum.

There is nothing you/anyone can really do. No server bans will be given (unless you ban them from your own, if you have any) no licences will be removed.

Hi-res skins are still downloaded, all you need is a .dds plugin to view them or convert them to jpg.

Privates skins are meaningless to those who don't respect the idea, it's more of a gentlemen’s agreement.

Dunno how solid it is but Martin Brundle and Jonathan Legard commenting with David Coulthard and Jake Humphrey in the studio, no James Allen.....woooooo hooooooooo! Lee McKenzie taking over from the current pit lane muppets.

Links to both would help so we can see the spec.

Those numbers mean absolutley FA, they are just Dell model numbers.

That's a macro, a script added to try and get the same effect as the old cut throttle on up shift option.

But it's close to being unfair, a cheat or not.

Quote from Töki (HUN) :I'm not surprised to hear it from a Hamilton fanboy All I said there is true mate.

Yeah people aren't fanboys if they are sick of reading the negative Hamilton stuff from you in nearly every post you make, maybe just not talk about him.

That was all changed when the clutch model was added, so the options to do that were removed and no longer apply.

You have to do both manually now.

I don't think you be able to run both onboard and a graphics card.

It would just be far easier to get a second converter.

Quote from lerts :hell this forum is fuc+ed up i come here all happy check the opinions on my liking and i feel bad suddenly after being here

Why is this a shock to to you? 95% of what you post gets this reaction.

Quote from Dajmin :Some people don't deserve high-end equipment. This kind of crap makes baby Jesus cry.

Obviously you can set it up how ever you like lerts and it's your money but you've totally missed the point of a G25 and you could have brought something else for a lot less money and got the same effect

I have an old wingman that I got for £5 from eBay with 90 degress rotation, no FFB, I'll swap it for your G25!
Antec 900 - Making the fan switches external the easy way.
garph
S3 licensed
It's probably been done before and it's probably posted somewhere but I've figured it out for myself.

After seeing the Antec 1200 review and how they have put the fan switches on the front mesh I was going to try the same thing, cutting a small hole in the mesh and gluing the switch in place.

Instead I took out the hard drive cage, un-bent the hooks holding the switch wire in place (bend them back after) then when you slide the hard drive cage back you just hold the wire flat to the cage, keeping the switch on the outside and slide the cage back in.

You should be able to push the wire back so that the switch sits nicely on the outside of the case just like in the picture.

The rear fan switch I just feed through the water cooling holes, same for the side panel fan. Can't do anything for the top fan

Ah ok, just wondering.

I normally backup the skins folders, setups, scripts (sometimes dds), spr and mpr folders.

There is probably more buts thats all I do, cfg file might be worths saving as well.

Have you plugged the harddrive into the new motherboard without formatting and re-installing the operating system?

For my DFP I have 101% in the profiler and 10 to 15 (sometimes more depending on the car) in game.

Just set it to whatever you feel is best, if it's too heavy use less or too light use more.....obviously.
