Quote from Bmxtwins :deko were you drunk when u made this t2 exit racing surface adjustment for aston? What about something like this where it adapts the run off area but doesnt make it dangerous for hwen cars are going 2 wide on exit. Ie if a car is on the inside the car on the left would rejoin and slam into the other cars side in an attempt to stay within the white line. With this adaption it would be much more clear

Silly idea, if someone was to run wide and hit the tires it could cause a even bigger crash?

Quote from Eclipsed :As far as I understand,OEM licences are illegal to resell - they are only for PC manufacturers/sellers,so they can make/sell PCs with already installed OS and not just blank hardware. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't know hence why i'm asking here....
Upgrading Help?

I'm planning on upgrading from XP to 7 but don't want to spend the £100+ from PC world etc. So just wondering if a OEM version will be okay?? Link below.

Windows 7 Version

Quote from Brilwing :The problem is that on the setup grid website only LFS up to version 0.5Z is supported. So if you use a newer version, than SIG does not work.

The following instructions should make SIG work again:
- In the SIG install folder navigate to the bin folder.
- In this folder the localization files are located named setupgrid_??.properties with the language as suffix
- You can open the localization file in a normal text editor like notepad
- e.g. if you have a german Windows edit the setupgird_de.properties (for english, or a language not listed use the setupgrid.properties)
- When you have open the file in notepad, then navigate to the bottom where you find the following line: baseUrl = http://setupgrid.net/setups.php?car={0}&track={1}&patch={2}
- Change this to: baseUrl = http://setupgrid.net/setups.php?car={0}&track={1}&patch=0.5z&dummy={2}
- Now you have hardcoded to always get setups for the LFS 0.5z version.
- Restart SIG and this should work.

Cheers for that i've done that but i mean in general the website? It never seems to load for me on any browser? But when i use a proxy it works fine? Any ideas?

Quote from Bean0 :Is it really worth continuing to support XP, as it goes totally end of life in 6 months time.

Yes it is still worth it! Probably 25% of users are on XP

Quote from hiroshima guy :Are you using an AMD card and updated Catalyst? My laptop had that problem too but I rolled back to an earlier but working version and it was back to normal. Maybe you could try that?

Thing is i don't want to downgrade drivers cause i can't run other games i play, so if this is a LFS issue with the newest ATI update i don't know?
