I don't know yet how much work it will be for us to get everything back to normal after it is fixed, but the PRO server shouldn't be a concern...

OUCH!! meaning you didn't know about it?

I'd love to do some more public racing and I use to spend a lot of time on it for almost 3 years, but as real life goes I only have limited time for lfs and the leagues have been taking most of it lately. That said as admin if I join the server and I am alone to start with, I have limad rights which allows me to change the track to one I like more. I am not a fan of rotations, but I understand EQ's point to get a wider public, but I don't think he minds if an admin change the first combo when he joins.

As things were now, only team leaders had limad rights, but leaders are not always the most active members, so I thought that we could make the admin group bigger and by this maybe increase our chances...

Hehe it looks like I forgot to add that for anyone who need 5 days to reinstall a browser, plz do not do a fresh install!

Well since Genuine sponsors the server, I say let it run a bit longer, we had some good fun on it and I feel our team members still want to give it a chance. That said it would be cool if other teams could just take responsibility for the server when empty, we want to help but we have many things to do and we can't admin it everyday. Maybe (if there are still interested teams) each leaders could nominate a few admins from their teams to get more ppls the opportunity to jump on the server to fully admin/run it, the more are involved the better I think.

Could that be an idea?

Also with any major upgrades make sure you do a fresh install, using auto update or uninstalling it only from control panel is not enough since folders and registry commands remain in system. so make sure you uninstall it as explained in this guide (btw great guide to tweak FF): http://www.tweakguides.com/Firefox_3.html

The server is still running, just ofline since yesterday due to server move, I'm hoping it will be back online today...

Server's name is & R2R GEN PRO and it is restricted to pedal clutch (no button allowed) and H shifter, so G25 or above is required...sadly it wasn't much of a success when we've started it, but the guys asked me to keep it running with the hope we will do more of that stuff in the future (numbers of wheel user is increasing everyday)...so if there is more interest I am sure many of us would pick up on it.

Couldn't find a topic for this season yet, but since we've been visiting the man in the TT Assen track for a training session yesterday (Drifters and me), I thought I just start one and share some here...

It looks like it will be an interesting season with 30 cars expected on the grid, those Formula ADAC sounds like FBM diesel , the torque seems to kick in at very low revs, but the most spectacular is to see them brake at 40m at the end of the strait ...

Was great to meet him, he's a very nice guy and a real PRO!

THX to the great safety cars who brought me to the pit, the car wasn't steering any more and there was no way I could have gone back to the pit...when trying to steer with one hand in to the pit I changed settings in F12 and (in the panic lol) took almost all the fuel out of the car....what is it with us and those 6h races?? LOL

As for my crash, no idea what happened, I was passing two cars on the right when my car took off like there was no tomorrow...I'll wait for the replay.

Only thing left for us is the fastest lap, Heijerman going mental!
