during the EM lots of people stream the local tv program for everyone in the world. shouldn't be that difficult if john doe can do it, we can do this 100%
when i read the tutorial for broadcasting everything looks quite easy.
yesterday i've watched the soccer games over a sopcast channel streamed by a guy in spain and it worked perfectly.
the move was legal and logical as andretti was the whole race going on the outside line, he just switched in the final laps before the crash to the inside line everyone else was going. then he got passed by dixon because he gave him the inside. right after that ryan tried the same but this time marco did not let the door open that wide.
after some more reviews i saw ryans car jumping just a little bit before the crash. maybe he got lose on the front end, tried to compensate by more steering, when the car got grip again on the front, he went down on the white line because the steering was too much and... up he went. could be possible as ryan was on his 3rd??? oval race...
racing accident however i see the problem more on ryans side. marco definitely did not move downwards or something.
not necessary, setups as everything with cars on tracks is about physics. if you know the math behind it, it will help. but to communicate with other people in a team you need to know the names of the parts. and when starting a racing team the smallest support can help.
i agree with you. i've watched it now again several times and probably yes thats the reason. marco did not move more to the inside, he just kept his line and ryan maybe was scared and went down to the white line...
whats the problem with you? if you do not have any clue about a topic and are not interested in it, why do you read or post on this thread anyway?

did marco give enough room as he said? or was Hunter-Reay too eager on that pass?
in my opinion marco gave room, maybe he gave just the amount of room someone needs to do a pass if everything is going fine, but the race was at the edge and the tires were pretty much worn out. so he did not take that into account. maybe he did not want to give another guy room as he let dixon pass. but maybe Ryan was not 100% safe with his line too or he thought there is not enough room and went too far down to the white line. i'd love an helicopter cam view of that accident.
i'd say a classical racing accident with no one or both of them to blame
sorry dude, that was not my decision... i got the files this way, i won't ever use stuff it and the names are not corupted they are just japanese or some other language... (btw. all hqx files are named correctly, so before you extract them you see the correct names. if you know what brand you need, its not a problem at all to use them as they are written in western characters...)
i had either the joice of: not uploading them to you or go through all 520 files, extract them, open them, rename them, rar them and upload them to you... or in other words 5 hours of boring work for ... nothing...
if you are too lazy to extract those files you want to use don't blame me for not doing it...
btw. i can take those files off from the server in 1 minute if you do not want them...
what i have experienced is this when watching longer races (100 laps) the first 30 laps there is no incar cam all of a sudden there is one and then the cams come regulary.
i am not sure if this is coincidence but, once i've selected an incam view manually its more likely it will be selected by the program afterwards
hey i post a Photoshop CS2 file for you with only the BMW M3 front end and a XRR overlay mask (master skinners) for you. however i will release a "front-end skin kit" file the next days with all of them giving everyone the great possibilities of creating great skins for XXR and XRT in 5minutes.
btw. the position of the front end even works on XRT
maybe the lights are a bit too small but i will adjust everything in the final 1.0 version of FESK
you need fake headlights and gril like on nascar? i can make the skin for ya..
i can also put some small decals around the wheels if you want.

ok tires is one thing i did not take into account...
this will need some testing with humans.... maybe the R2s are just enough restriction for the FZR as migth not be able to go with that car as long as with the XRR
with R2 and the right setup you can go 30 to 35 laps in heavy drafting, at least with the XRR. just reduce camber and raise pressure and you are there. not a big deal.
the reason for R2 lies in the cautions. during the cautions the tires cool down that much, so it needs after the restart about 10 laps to get them up to heat again with R3+. the inner tires did not heat up at all. which will or which had caused a lot of post caution crashes in the first 2 seasons because people were not aware of the bad tire temperature and the different car balance.
in last season we had at least one race with R2 tire restriction and it was quite an improvement. as the tires were up to a decent heat after 1-2 laps after a caution. and whats good: all 4 tires have decent grip.
but i am not sure about how the FZR handles R2 tires though... i mean R4 are insane for a 130 laps race... the inner tires will just be black in the end...
