LFS Editor crashed few times when I click reload textures in map mode (wire). It doesn't happen every time, 4 times in the last few days. The screenshot attached is taken at the moment of the crash.
No, I put them to custom access... I've been thinking of deleting those two BZG mods.
Should I keep them? Looking at them... they look kinda bad.
Thinking about adding interior textures (leather) to them too.
I do have a question about windows/transparent objects shadow - since in real life they doesn't cast shadows, but in the public LFS version (LOD2) transparent objects does generate shadows.
Is this going to change with the new graphics system?
I know nobody would notice such thing, but it's a little nice detail.
I have updated the interior, the mod is almost finished. Progress in the attachment shots.
Now I will make a lower poly LOD2 and it will be out of WIP state.
I also never used LFS music player.
Also I think there is no need of intro (music or video) either.
But being on the tracks there is no background sounds, which can be added via a music player or some sort.
I suggest to add (it the future) a background sounds simulating a track/city environment which can be turned on/off in the audio options.
This will make the experience more immersive.
EDIT: There is a wind sound only when the car engine is running and being close to the car.
EDIT №2: The attached screenshot is from BeamNG.
The problem maybe it's because LFS is being developed by 3 developers.
Hence the progress is slow. Hence there is not as much content.
Looked from outside the game just feel outdated.
To get rid of some of that (in my opinion):
Graphics upgrade.
Sounds/Engines upgrade.
Add more tracks (we have plenty of car mods already).
Overhaul the remaining default LFS cars (just like the RB4).
Release it on Steam.
But to do all of this in a reasonable time frame... it just need more developers.
And since this does not match the philosophy behind LFS, these things will be happening slowly.
It's a bit annoying, so I posted a comment under his video about this.
In my opinion with the release of the new graphics, people will be less confused.
