Quote from xaotik :Different marking intervals - see X33's speedos (all apart from XFG, XRG and LX4). The only speed marking, as has been said, that is essential really is the 80km/h mark.

Currently im on my laptop, so I havent really had chance to see it. Although, I definetly will have alook tonight.

Wow bit of a thread i'v caused. It is clear what type of speedo is preffered.

The only thing is, that the needle type speedo, if you make the numbers 'bigger' there is nowhere to cram them in.

Quote from AndroidXP :Ok, I'm just being picky, seeing that we still have digital speedos in X31

But not in all cars though

Quote from AndroidXP :Where is the "I like it as it is" option?

Depends which one your talking about. If you prefer to have it like it is on the x31 patch I suggest you vote for the needle type (analog).
But if the X10 version vote for Digital and Needle Type

Hi Guys,

I was wondering, how does a Logitech G25 Shifter connect to the pc? Is it through the wheel or is it a USB port which automaticly connects to the computer? Also Would the Pedals fit a Logitech Formula Force EX?

Many thanks,

Quote from h3adbang3r :Also, in the case of the digital speedo being removed, I haven't been able to test it, as I haven't been able to play LFS since Monday. Biggest power outage in state history, and the power at my place is estimated to be restored tomorrow. Been in a hotel room since Tuesday.

Unlucky Mate. How about renting/buying a genorator?

Anyway,

I think the Toyota Yaris has one, that's off the top of my head anyway.

(Sorry for off topic Matty)

Lol it's alright as they say it's a 'free world'. That's Why i wonder each time why can't my dad floor it on roads . By the way the car looks like abit like a Jaguar at some extent .

Quote from Glenn67 :Not really if I hadn't already voted I'd have at least considered it myself definately RPM should be much more prominante in race cars than speedo. It's just the road cars that would more likely have a speedo than a large RPM dial.

Lol, but I really coundn't really really imagine that could you . Especially in real road cars . I was wondering if it was you who voted for No speedo but... You already have voted

Quote from beefyman666 :The way I see it, the British thought of something, then the Americans used it.

So us Brits used MPH before the US did.

My old motorbike had KPH speedo and it took a while to get used to, although it still had MPH inside of the KPH but in smaller text.

Ah who needs speed limits in real life anyway

Quote from The Very End :Sorry for going off topic, but isn`t MPH just something that the american does? I belived most people who doesn`t lived in cage`s used km/h?

Well I don't live in a Cage nor do I live in America and I use Mph

Quote from Mazz4200 :Erm, I had my tongue very firmly placed in cheek in that post, and i was referring to the other 'pole-less' thread you made.

Sorry if my odd sense of humour confused you, no malice was intended whatsoever.

But on topic, this has been discussed elsewhere and to be perfectly honest, personally i really don't care what kind of speedo the cars have. I was racing last night and i noted that the only time i looked at the speedo was in the pit lane (although i still don't know what 80kph is in proper money). On the track the only dashboard info i kept an eye on was the rev counter and the gear number thing.

So i'm easy, i'll take whatever the devs give us and concentrate on the fun of driving rather than setting PB after PB or win after win.

lol, Im sorry for abit of an agressive reply aswell

I created the other one by mistake (missed out pole )- Been a long day

I usually use the speedo when, a quick glance through the corner, down the straight and in the pitlane . I think you can actully feel how fast your going at .
