I can't type while im driving at all, even on straights...reason? I use a gamepad so need both thumbs on the analog sticks 99% of the time...

Watch the replay of the incident on YouTube from Kimi's camera and you see he slows down as quickly as Rubens did. Also if you look at the normal footage there is a big gap in front of Rubens to the Ferrari's and Renault's in turn 3.


At the end of the day though...even the FIA have said no one driver was specifically to blame and it was just a racing incident. Even Ron Dennis said it was just one of those things that can happen in T1...although i bet he was still ever so slightly annoyed

If you see him, can you kindly point him in the direction of the McLaren F1 2006 pit for me aswell please? I did think I saw him do some practice laps in the V8's yesterday though but no times in the F1

I think if another game goes ahead it'll need to be A1GP or Champ Cars (maybe BTCC, I could be convinced) as in both the F1 games and in V8's they are 'historically accurate' so a lot of luck goes into what team you end up being illepall

Hence in the F1 game we have, my McLaren will be fast and fragile for the first half of the season

Oh and another thing...Champ Car and BTCC (and I think A1GP) also allow you to upload your own car paint scheme's So you can use a version of your LFS skin on them

I'm not hugely mechanically minded so I find setup work very tough...I even ask one of my mates to help me with suspension setup! I tell him what the car's doing, he tells me what things to adjust, pretty often it works very well!

It does seem like a great circuit, but I can't seem to get rid of a horrid amount of power-oversteer out of both hairpins
Keeps me in the low 1:02's with occasional high 01's...although I do think part of it is the lack of finesse when putting the power down using my gamepad

Simple bit of maths I found in the BATracer forum help you decypher the engineers scrawled "do this when it's pissing down" into what adjustments you need for the current weather type. It's not 100% but it works well enough
