Quote from deggis :BMW M3 Challenge\UserData\Dennis\Dennis.PLR and find a line saying Auto Clutch="1" (of course, change that to 0 to put it off)

that also disables autoblip and cut.

Woot, thanks! I wonder why they don't put that in options.

How do I turn off auto clutch?

I want to use the brake pedal as the clutch with my DFP, but the car will use the clutch whether i do it or not.

Nice start, keep going and don't give up. Modeling can be hard and time consuming, even for people who have been doing it for many years.

If you can, drop that ABIT motherboard and the sound card and get this one instead http://www.overclockers.co.uk/ ... odid=MB-221-AS&tool=3. It will cost you an extra £7.06 inc VAT.

Onboard sound is fine for budget builds and this Asus board will allow you to overclock, unlike the Abit board.

Someone who's Dell E521 power supply is only 315W (hint)

You can use the drag strip for 1/4 times and I think LFS Lapper has a 0-60mph thing.

Jakg, the 8600GTS definitely isn't crap:

These are old benchmarks too (April) and the performance has improved a good amount since then.

Pentium D and Core 2 Duo are different architectures. The Pentium D is like 2 Pentium 4's on one die. So it technically is Dual Core but it cannot be compared to Core 2 Duos clock for clock (as in a 1.8Ghz Core 2 Duo is about equal to a 3.6Ghz Pentium D).

Some more info (thanks to wiki!):

What are your computer specifications? That would help a lot in determining the problem.

The 8800GTX is only needed right now if you plan on playing something like Oblivion on max settings, 4xAA 16xAF, and at a crazy resolution like 2560x1600 while maintaining a minimum of 30fps. So basically, it is overkill and will only elongate your E-penis .

You can get an Evga 8600GTS for 150€ I think (according to google's conversion). I also have one and have no problems in Vista.

I used to fold but our electricity bill is pretty high as it is so I don't really do it anymore.

I have been considering the Skip Barber experience at Lime Rock Park but their prices are quite steep and that is what is holding me back.

If you aren't a heavy gamer (LFS isn't very graphically dependent) I would get an 8500GT or 8600GT (depending on your price range) as they are great midrange cards that support DX10 as well as play back the new High Definition media with ease as that is one of the things the midrange 86xx series cards were designed for. They also game very well as my 8600GTS is comparable to at least the 7900GS in DX9 performance.

The 8500GT would be fine for LFS but if you plan on playing more graphically intense games, I would recommend the 8600GT. These cards are more energy efficient than the last generations cards and will put less strain on the Dell's power supply.

All three are well known brands and should be fine for your rig as long as they have a good amount of amps on the 12V rail(s).

Jaguar E-type Series 1

Audi R8 Pace Car

Porsche GT3 Pace Car

Formula BMW USA

(Dad)

Audi crashed, pictures of it coming back into the paddock (suspension gave out IIRC)

Brother took pictures of this spin/wipe while my Dad and I were over by the chicane watching from there.

Car in 3rd went straight into the swamp during the last couple minutes of the race.

It could go both ways, GenerAL was keeping you from turning but you also decided to get him on the inside which brought you off the racing line after the apex forcing GenerAL to the outside. I think that it was your fault for not passing him cleanly but I don't think it deserves a ban. I'd say you need to drive like your in an actual car and not driving a kart.
