Point 1: You are completely incorrect, name one real life racing series that counts penalty time while work is being done on the car (repair, refuel whatever).

Point 2: Not all racing series allow refuelling at the same time. FIA GT racing I believe cannot refuel while the tyres are being changed or other work is being done on the car (or even swapping drivers). Might even be the other way round, fuel first, then tyres/driver etc.

Some series allow simultaneous refueling yes, I believe this sort of thing will eventually be implemented in LFS.

I would just like to add that those who complain that its taking SOOOO LOOONNGG to get updates and "its easy to do most of these things", why dont YOU go out and do it yourself if its so easy.

Also, to those who prophesise the "death of LFS", this has been prophesised now for many years, and as we just recently set a new record for the most people online at once ever, LFS must certainly be dying. Oh dear. What will you do if it died? you will have to go over to Rfactor forums and prophesise the death of that or something.

Awwww, c'mon, there's only like 2 ovals (Wobbly & Devilwhatsitcalled) - 3 if you count ring of fire. Ovals I think are much better with larger grids. Small grids can make ovals boring, but I still think they have a place.

Yes, they are fairly old! Some BnJ regulars appear in these clips and fans will also note the appearance of the now dropped Champagne & Tudor Rose layouts.

I'm hoping to have this project fully complete in the next few days, I just wonder if anyone has got an idea as to the "mystery"?

I have used both Vegas and also Pinnacle Studio 11 to create my movies. Studio is ok for the less intense videos, but Vegas is the better (but more intensive to use) for the more advanced videos. Quite amazing what Vegas can do given its size compared to the hard disk munching space-whore that Studio is (plus it renders at least twice as fast as Studio).....

So true..... wasn't LFS dying a slow death 2 years ago?? And it was still dying a death 1 year ago? And apparently, with more S2 licencesed racers than ever playing online, its still dying a slow death. Makes sense........ NOT.

Fact is, nobody has been promised anything in terms of content or timeline for release so all this "its taking too long" crap is thrown into irrelevance. When you bought S2 (or S1) you knew how it worked and the difference in development schedule, so if you didn't like it, why the hell did you buy it????? If by lag you mean that the captured clips are coming out jumpy, then probably yes, your computer is struggling to keep up. Fraps will eat up a lot of resources and you hard disk is tested as well. You need AT LEAST a 7,200rpm hard drive, 10,000rpm is optimal.

I'm always improving on my camera panning etc, I think in some of the clips, the full effect was lost as I had to trim certain bits to try and fit within the beat of the music....

Understandable, but it was never meant to be full on action in this clip (thats for the other project). I know what you mean about the lens flare, I'm hopeless at getting these effects right, I was using Vegas and the standard plugin effect for that. Any tips on getting it too move?

Here is my little effort, I would have had it up earlier, but I have had no internet for the last week, it only came up again 10 minutes ago!!

I call it "Shoelace" - no reason why. Its relatively short (sub 60sec laps) but presents some unique challenges and plenty of danger. I hope it gets considered.
