Quote from ACCAkut :and it was advertizing for a drift event (not a car show) oddly enough. Then again some media guy from the 24h Nür race had the same brilliant idea for a spot. Just add tits and bad SFX and people will love it .. they didn't

-.-.-..

This isn't even funny, it's just dumb.

The lame effects at the end just sealed the deal.
Worst commercial I have ever seen in my entire life.

The modelling and the amount of time gone into that is indeed impressive, but the textures are far from that.

Quote from Specht77 :what was it? youtube took it down

A woman with fake breaststikels.
Laying down on some drift cars while flashing her boobs, and or provocatively removing her shirt.

While also giving them the occasional squeeze.

tbh, only thing to see were some silicon breasts...

Well at the very least she wasn't some Thai she-male.

It might have had something to do with the video showing actual uncensored breasts.

Which I might ad was quite a nice sight.

Quote from ACCAkut :To keep the costs down at least the Mini WRC uses the same McPherson's on all four corners

Which is probably one of the reasons it never got any decent finishing postition.
Also Kris Meeke was probably not that good of a driver, compared to the likes of: Ogier, Loeb, Latvalla

Quote from PhilS13 :This does not indicate that. You can pretty much have the travel/camber curve you want with a double wishbone setup. You just have to mess around with arm lengths and attachment point locations.

But wouldn't that give the wheel positive camber al the time?
Even under load?

Well I am perfectly fine with 50cc bikes and with the way they can provide cheap transport.

I just don't like plastic scooters, but everyone has their own free choice to make.
I do love old Vespa's though, apart from the 2 stroke noise I think they are quite cool.

Quote from Klutch :So why are you saying normal jeans are fine to use?

No you implied that shorts offer the same level of protection as normal jeans.

This is a statement that I find to be quite shocking, and is probably wildly inaccurate.
Since common sense would lead me to believe something is better than nothing.

In other words some pants are better than almost no pants.

But that said I would at the least wear special kevlar trousers, some proper gloves a jacket and a full face helmet

Quote from Klutch :Standard jeans, no matter what quality rip as soon as you touch the asphalt...

go ahead and be a squid if you want, no skin off my legs when you drop it.

I wear full gear and I will never wear anything else when riding my bike.

This is exactly what a complete idiot would say.

Well I assume WRC choose to use McPherson struts instead of a more modern set-up.

Maybe the Older system gives more travel?
I also assume it would be easier, or faster to repair?
A WRC question

So I have been watching the official WRC channel on Youtube.

And I have noticed something rather odd from the slow-motion videos they have been putting up. When the cars jump and the wheels loose their load the wheels have positive camber.

This would indicate that they don't use double a wishbone suspension system. What do they use and why?

For those interested a link to the channel:

An awesome video with the beginning being the funny part.

But it's also really adorable.

Quote from Bose321 :That's obviously because Germany and Belgium are making us sink. If we dislodge from them, we will simply float.

Oh, and who cares about the EU? The Netherlands will simply declare war with all countries and then take over the whole world.

How by throwing superior fanaleds software in their faces?

This is my steel with plastic stallion at the moment.

I have managed to repair it after a accident I had in May of this year.

A 1991 Kawasaki GPX 600R.

This is how the towing company delivered it to my home.
They said the right part of the fairing basically disintegrated on impact.
It just broke of when they towed it onto the truck.
