nice, but the graphics and stuff need to be fixed as they show the pixels. if you're able to smooth them out, it would look a lot better. any other items for the render, just ask.
you aren't asking too much, and it'll help me learn more about the rendering. mainly, it looks grey because of the glossy reflection, think clear coat of the paint. i can turn the reflection down a bit, but then the paint starts to not look real. i will send you a couple of small renders with different variations, and you choose the one you want. then i'll make the big one for you.
shaGuar, your skin needs to be bigger than 512x512 to make it look better than it does in the render. otherwise, it's a good skin. same with beefyman666, your fxr is coming.
hi all, i'm trying to have a little fun with rendering like a lot of people, and am slowly getting the hang of it. however, brazil rio is limiting me to 512x384px sizes. have i installed it wrong, or set a wrong setting to do that? i'm using 3ds max 8, brazil rio 1.2.37
EDIT: never mind, found a post about the same thing.
the r2's shown are at the maximum temperature. i had forgotten to mention that those temps were after 3 laps, so i think that they would go down a bit during the bulk of the race, so i think i can work with those.
however, i wish i could get the rears' temperatures up a bit, but to do that, i'd have to change the center diff, and the setup is just fine right now.
first picture is of r2's in front and rear, second picture is of r3's in front and r2's in rear. my question is which should i use for the upcoming LeMans race at Aston Historic (40 laps)? from what i can gather from reading this thread is that i should go with the r2's. but is the air temperature of them too high, or is it ok?
so if you have already been renting a server from you, do you get the bogo offer? or is it only for those that start renting in december? kinda confused on it. but the prizes would be great to win.
i think that i bit off more than i can chew with this idea. i've only had one class of vb.net and now taking a similar class for C#. never have done something like this. my dad (software consultant) says this would be OOP. anybody know of some good online books about OOP and good examples of OOP?
