Hello,

My friend said he saw some server with a track (city track I think) that was all open no walls blocking paths around the city and so on. The server name was something like "COAST the city"

Anyways just wondering if there is anything like that? If so where could I download it to run on my own server?

I was reading about LFS tweak on the forum and wanted to download it to mess around with it offline. I did I search on yahoo.com but did end up finding a link for it.

Maybe music and such was the 90s but to have that little sound when you click the links is actually still being done. To tell you the truth everybody that has seen my site has only had positive comments to say.

Anyone find those Acer updates? My computer never used to be like this I ran Avast! and SUPERAntiSpyware and came up with nothing. Although, I have managed to run it fairly smoother, with less freeze ups, nearly none, except it freezes every time i get a pop-up (such as MSN) unlike how it used to be fine

As for the firewall I'm running Crappy Vista but I disabled the Firewall and my Antivirus does not have a firewall either.

I'm currently not using wireless hooked up with a Cat5 network cable.

Keep in mine even if I use the Dedicated Hosting program OR choose Dedicated host in the full game my server still wont show up for some reason.

Just bought a new laptop & I want to host on it. I can host a non-Dedicated server and it works. But as soon as I try to host a Dedicated server it does not come up on the Master LFS List.

I can join it if I connect by my network ip to the server but not the Master list.

I am using a router and everything is setup correctly especially since non-dedicated works but I also need to join the server from my other computer which cant be done unless I host dedicated.

ok I tried the dediecated server, But I cant see my server on the Master List. I can connect to it through my network by using its network ip but thats all.

Keep in mind I have forwarded ports for the correct computer and everything. Just does not make sense to me.

Hello all,

I just got a laptop and i setup a Internet server on the laptop. (unlocked S2 on it and so on)

Now I try to join MY server it tells me user name is already online and wont let me join. Same thing happens when I try to connect by my network ip address.

Is they some kinda of security feature that they just forgot to make a work around if people do what I'm doing (hosting and playing on a different computer)?

Seems that changing the Port that I use for hosting fixed the problem

I have attached a picture so you can see exactly what it says. Basically I'll startup a Internet server. People can join because I have friends I regularly race with that join without problems,

but as you can see from the picture it says New guest timed out & Avoiding Buffer crash etc. I'm just wondering why thats happening and how to fix it?

I'm Using a linksys router but I got the ports forwarded and it works since people can join. I got the latest version of LFS that just came out, WinXp Pro Sp2, DSL 5mb

seems a bit slow for a P4, P4s are usually around 3 GHz

mess with your LOD settings ingame, remember that the LOD settings did change in this patch, so you need to lower them

P4's are around 3ghz?? Where have you been? The first P4's that came out was around 1.4ghz if I'm not mistaken.

FpS = 60 With AA/AF set to max (limit it to 60fps could go higher but no point, rather use the extra power to make everything else smooth then trying to get more FPS that i don't need)

of course you could just install lfs on your sistes comp and test it and see for yourself then delete it if it runs slower.... But if the specs above are correct then your laptop would be faster.
