Here is me being a dick.

This video has been private since I posted it... Basically it's a compilation of broadcast footage in LFS from 2009. I made this for Riley Hickman, a local dirt track super late model driver that I work for.

I just want to post this to remind me and everyone here what made H2H so great. Check out the H2H All-Star deciding move between me and David Williams. 1:40-2:26

That song is sweet. If nothing else, another beauty to add to my already way to large of a music collection.

In reference to the video, I love this kinda stuff. It's so different than say what I or Firemike would do, in the sense that it give you more of a sense of emmersion. Where as I would have shorter scenes that overall may keep the viewer more entertained, it's almost impossible for me to make the viewer as in tune with the video as this, because when I watch this it reminds me of when I was still running LFS in high end leagues like this. The pressure, the closeness of the race, the corner by corner storyline that no one ever really talks about. I just love this style of video.

ineX Racing Dominates the Masters of Endurance - 12 Hours of Kyoto GP in GT0; Scores a Top-5 in GT2

The time has come, and the most prestigious and anticipated Live for Speed league is underway. As in past years, the 12 Hours of Kyoto GP would serve as the 2010-2011 Masters of Endurance's inaugural round. However, changes to the series would mean that a new era of LFS race car would take to the track. For the first time, the 600BHP GT0 class would take to the track. They would effectively crush old track records, and for the first time bring three-classes to the series.

2010 NDR Summer Event

Teemu Iivonen put together a video for the 2010 NDR Summer Event. We posted this on Youtube roughly the same time we posted the Live for Speed Endurance League - Rough Edit video.

Teemu Iivonen and ineX Racing are now proud to release a short highlight video from that race.

Quote :A quick look at the NDR Summer Event for 2010, from ineX Racing.

ineX Racing were running 1-2-3, but one driver would eventually time out. The other two would take first and second on their server. This subsequently put the drivers second and third in the overalls standings, after Tommy Østgaard had a puncture on the last lap of the race, while leading.

Video created by Teemu Iivonen.

I just want it to be clear that Andy and myself have discussed this issue thoroughly. We have no problems with one another in reference to the teams. Samuel told me he had an offer, but he liked what we had. Apparently he had not looked into that offer, and it was from Radicals. After less than 24 Hours of being an offical ineX Racing member he left to go to Radicals since their offer was actually sent to him before ours.

Although I would have turned down Samuel in Radicals position, it is more understandable. Andy himself said that if they had not contacted him in advance, he would have never been allowed in the team.

At the end of the day, this is one persons doing, and that is Samuel's. Think of it as you may, we hold no grudge towards Samuel or Radicals. If anything, we hope that this brings ineX and Radicals closer together. Although I find Samuel's actions unprofessional, business is business and we will all go on just as we have in the past.

We look at this as a learning experience. This has not weakened our team in any way... If anything, it has made us stronger.

I personally think this is the best theme yet. It's a video competition, it's not supposed to be easy.

There are all kinds of effects you could use. A nighttime scene would be great and it's really easy. Take a clip, duplicated it, match them, and adjust the levels on both. Make the bottom layer dark, make the top layer bright, and adjust the top layer to fit. It's not that simple, but if you make brights brighter, and darks darker, and you adjust the layer properly, I'm sure that would look good...

BTW, I've never tried that, but instantly that would be the first place I would start. If you want it to look production quality, there is going to have to be a lot more to I though. I've done simple scenes, such as the IGTC 2009 Intro with the My3id car, that have been over 6 layers.

Now keep in mind, nighttime is not weather... Most people are going to do a rain effect, but keep in mind, it doesn't have to be raining. For instance, the ground can simply be wet.

Lynce did a video trying to create that effect. I don't know how he did it, but I know exactly how I would do it and it's really quite simply IMO. I'm not going to drop the bomb on this one, because it is more technical than doing a night scene and I don't want to spoil it for the competitors.

Just keep in mind guys, this event is for editors of all skill levels. Making something production quality, such as Lynce's work, should not be the goal for all of you. If you guys saw my last video on here, you might know what I mean. That is not production quality, but it looks decent. That would be the mind set I would have when preparing for this contest.

Thanks. It really is a shame this didn't go through. I would have really liked to put the final layer of effects in it. Anyways, I'll have more works in the future.
