tbh i'm really a fan of DTM but what's the difference to the last F1 race. The Lauzitsring was like the last F1 race.
It's a track where it's almost impossible to take someone over except he makes a big mistake (or you bump and pass him like green did to häkkinen). So it wasn't really exciting.
Jamie Green took the pole for the 4th time but he is to nervous to make it throught the first 2 turns etc. The rest wasn't that exciting. Except when Abt lost his tire in the pits the rest was pure pit strategy like in F1 (to bad that Ekström had not enough fuel at the end).
There wasn't much take overs so what was better then then last F1 race (just 4 or 5 people behind each other who are not able to pass each other and in F1 there were 2 who can't pass each other. I don't really see much of a diff. there)
btw the same thing happend to me today (never ever had any LFS problems/crashes) but just got a "lfs exe problem message" and was back on desktop. Unfortunatly it was in the lag lap of a league race so I had no time to do an error report ;-)
I thought I just write it a bit more diplomatic
but your short version says it all
It's often not the race that is boring but the lousy TV Directors/Stations.
And when they show other drivers then the top 2 they make commercial breaks.
but in german TV (I had the feeling that) they showed 90% of the time Alonso or Schumacher. So it was a bit boring to watch sometimes (looks like 2 drivers doing hotlaps for themself)
Not really a bug but in training lesson 72 + 75 you get the text:
"Drive some laps around Aston. Park between the red/white barriers to end the lesson."
This would be better:
"Drive some laps around Aston. Park between the GREEN/WHITE CONES to end the lesson."
because there are no red/white barriers in Aston and () it took me 5 minutes to spot the green/white cones on the right side in the green of lesson 72 to end it.
but why did you "steal bandwith" for your news from http://www.lfsnews.net/uploads/lfsbf1.jpg
instead of copying the car picture and upload them to your own webspace.
(Maybe you have a special agreement with LFS-News, then I was wrong but linking pictures directly from another website is usually a no no)
I don't think this will work. People will still drive offline and practice the track etc. (and if it would be possible to change the account to a special mode, they'll use their 2nd account or have a friend next door...
