I'm awaiting the release of Rig N Roll, though with their record of postponing the release date for years on end I'm not holding my breath that it will actually be released this fall. Euro Truck Simulator looks nice enough judging from the screenshots, but physics wise and gameplaywise it's probably just another rehashing of their previous games.

this happens a lot, just dont rev it to much at the start and if you want it to change up, just do it manually, then let the auto gears do its thing

it is because of the new patch, it combines all of demo, s1 and s2 servers together, so that the demo users can go on S2 servers if they have just demo content

an alternative to this is buying something like a land rover defender and going propper off roading

i recently got an A reg series III for £800, cheap, and it was in good nic, just the few odd repairs. we take it on pay and play days wich at where i am, is £30
