Car size ?
Hello,
I'm just looking for the dimensions of the LFS cars (length and width at least) but strangely, I can't find! What did I miss !?

[Edit]
Thanks to the help below, here are the current measures (LxWxH in cm):
(height is approximate and may depend on suspension setting)

BF1 : 460 x 180 x 107
FBM : 394 x 169 x 100
FO8 : 453 x 177 x 102
FOX : 410 x 164 x 101
FXR : 446 x 199 x 125
FXO : 344 x 201 x 132
FZ5 : 441 x 187 x 122
FZR : 439 x 196 x 120
LX4 : 346 x 157 x 107
LX6 : 327 x 160 x 103
UF1 : 295 x 160 x 126 (122 if open)
MRT : 284 x 127 x 111
RAC : 391 x 177 x 101
RB4 : 439 x 195 x 127
UFR : 295 x 160 x 122
XFG : 361 x 184 x 134
XFR : 370 x 184 x 131
XRG : 425 x 197 x 129
XRR : 430 x 198 x 123
XRT : 432 x 198 x 129
Wheelbase, tracks and wheel/tyre sizes can be recovered from Car_Info.bin. See my post #5 in the live telemetry thread.

Body dimensions, I don't know.
Thank you Johnners. I had seen your message but I am looking for the body dimensions for my insim radar (working on VR headset unlike Lazy's one).
I'm going to try to line up the cars on a track and draw measurement lines there but it's not a great solution...
Not the most super accurate way of measuring, but you could go into SHIFT U mode, and use the D function to measure.

Good idea ! Thanks
If you come up with a bunch of dimensions, it would be useful for you to share the figures to save the next person the trouble. Smile
The most exact way would be to open the 3D files of the cars in a modeling software.
The "rendering" forum for has the downloads (example: https://www.lfs.net/forum/post/1955454#post1955454 ) and some tutorials.

Depending on program and file-format, the measurements might already be displayed in meters but they could also be in some internal format.
In the later case you could take a known measurement (rim size or dimensions from BMW Formula cars etc) and do the math.
Thanks for Blender thread ! It's really more precise than shift U...

I will complete my first message as I take my measurements.
Measurements completed. I hope it can be useful.
