Pitting rules:

Race requires a minimum time spent in pitstall of 10 seconds. That can be done either with single pitstop or sum of multiple pitstops. Driver who has spent less time will receive penalty time added to his finish time,which will be calculated by tripling the missing time to complete neccesary minimum time and adding additional 5 seconds. Drivers failing to pit at all will receive 1 minute penalty added to finish time (10s*3 + additional 30s).

The finale of this year was run was run with statistically least popular car of RTFR XL - the LX6,which gathered up an average of 10.5 drivers in the previous 2 races,but with 17 drivers on the grid this stat was noticably improved moving the LX6 4 positions up the chart. It was also the 1st run of RTFR XL in other Rockingham's configuration besides ISSC,but ironically the slightly extended configuration was used.

The event's previous winner R.Kardol returned to RTFR XL after missing 7 races and that ended with great success as he scored his 2nd racewin here. The dutchman started from outside of 1st row,followed the polesitter until he turned off track for the mandatory pitsop - R.Kardol could now release his pace and besides the 2nd win he scored also his 15th top5 finish (3rd most). Mr.Randomname (it's difficult to call him other way as he changes his name for each event recently and obviously does not value proper naming) was the fastest on both sessions in terms of single laptime,but could not keep up high pace to score a racewin - 2nd position in the finish for the lithuanian,who added to his stats the 3rd pole position,2nd fastest lap of the race and 2nd top5 finish. Winner of latest RTFR XL race Botsi was not able to match the pace of 2 leaders and finished 3rd,scoring his 16th top5 finish (2nd most). Ayoub Maroc joined the XL version of this event for the 2nd time and improved his best achievements noticably by finishing 4th (3 positions better),Michal closed the top5 and scored his 7th top5 finish.

* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
R.Kardol is the first driver not from Finland,Lithuania or Hungary to win an RTFR XL race since Jeff's (India) win in 28th RTFR XL (april 2019),which coincidentally was also run with LX6!

* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
Already after 1st lap Rony dove into pitlane for the mandatory pitstop and the time of the workless pitstop was 10.12s,which was never beaten during the race. 2 drivers had even shorted legal pitstops,but they both refuelled their cars.

* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
This combo turned out to be difficult on pasing side - not much movement in the field and Maciek was the best in this category by moving just 2 positions from 14th to 12th. Still twice more than next best.

* HONORABLE MENTION :
...goes to Mr.Steady T.Soini - after 4 years of RTFR XL racing,he has missed only 2 of 48 events,failing to finish in another one,only the race host,who is always there by default has better attendance.

With this RTFR XL racing is over for this year,yearly standings will be posted at nearest possibility. The winner of this race can submit his choice for the 49th RTFR XL (scheduled for 26th january) until 1st tuesday of the next year! Next tuesday also the year long run for positions in the standings for normal RTFR will be finished,as the 26th race of the year will be good old just for fun event - combo and more details will be posted this weekend.
