The finnish constructed real car Raceabout sadly is the least popular car in LFS - it has been driven just half as much laps in LFSW stats as the 2nd least popular car. This trend is visible also in RTFR - before this race RAC was the least attended car with 10.4 average per event,this tuesday this number was just rounded up to 11. Despite low numbers,the race provided fair share of action,especially in battle for best of the rest position.
Gábor did not had much competition in this event - he set a new track record during qualifying and was the only one to break the 1:04 mark,he dominated also the race by leading every single meter,setting his 1st ever fastest lap of the race in RTFR races - his win is already his 3rd,pole position - his 2nd effort,he also scored his 9th top5 finish. Early in the race the leading trio seperated from the rest,but later also 2 other leaders lost ground to Gábor - Unite managed to pass his countryman for 2nd position and kept it until finish line,scoring his 27th top5 finish,another previous race winner Arska finished 3rd and earned his 7th top5 finish. T.Soini regained earlier lost positions and climbed back to his starting position - 4th,which is his 18th top5 finish,ending a long top5-dry streak since 204th RTFR. Maciek won the battle for remaining top5 spot and also ended a long dry streak (since 206th RTFR) - 5th top5 finish in total for him.
Next week RTFR will take a break,while server is set up for laptime testing for next RTFR XL (more info in RTFR XL info thread),but in tuesday in two weeks RTFR will return with one of the slick tyre cars. But Race Green Events' action is not over this week as V8 Racing League will start it's 6th season this sunday,if interested in racing a challenging single seater car,check the VERL forum section for more info and signups!
