Quote from J@tko :No. It's sqrt(129433)i.

same thing, the spuare root of negative one times whatever number is negative...im terrible at explaining, but -265 is 265i cause i is already the square rooted -1, and just multiply it by 265.

now that i think idk who is correct, but i should know
No it's really not, sorry :P

Take the square root of -9, which is 3i.

That's because 3i = 3*i, and if we square that we get (3i)^2 = 3*3*i*i = 9 * (i^2) = 9 * -1 = -9.

What you just said is that 3i = -3.
yeah makes some sense

Rule's of internet

Rule 37. You can not divide by zero (just because the calculator says so).
Quote from PoVo :Well, it's not like you know much about Soviet Russia.

yep yep Grammar Tech! thats why I installed Povilasoft Pindows Povo so I got correct answers for 0

the number is 0,½
There was a math party, and all the functions were invited; the exponential function was alone in the corner, so sinx came to it and said:

- Why are you alone? Come and integrate with us.

The e^x said:

- What for? It would be the same, anyway...

On a more serious note (which is doomed here), by using L'Hospital's rule you can "divide" by zero if the divisor is zero or infinite.
You told that really badly, and if sinx integrated too much he'd just be the same too

And no he wouldn't.
