Nice ones lerts. You should definetly give it a try if its what you like. Dunno if you know about ctrl alt del the comic but its pretty awesome and made by a guy like you who loved to draw and got a wacom tablet and started making comics online. Here's the link : http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/

As for me, I'd like to be a mechanical engineer and possibly work with race cars or cars in general. I'd love to become a racing engineer in one of the big series like F1 (duh,) WTCC, WRC, A1GP, GP2, etc. I'm planning on going to McGill probably and possibly join their FSAE team (Yes, I shall be building the new MRT while studying .)
You should stick to drawing, Lerts. DON'T INVENT!!! Draw...

Those are actually good.

and being partially crazy is a great venture in any sort of art.
They're pretty good. But...

You're 36??!?!?!?!??!?! Yet you have the brain and social skills of a 5 year old? I'd have put you at about 16 now (at the most). You've really screwed your life up if you're 36.

tristan stop stating the obvious
I've never, ever, been into comics. I made one a month or so ago on a night when I was a bit tiddly, did a few more the following nights and put them on a web page then got approached by an illustrator to do scripts for a comic! What are the odds of that eh? I'm meating her at winter pride early next year and we're going to talk about what we can put together, and all because I got a little bit tiddly and felt creative.

So I reckon anyone can make a comic, even lerts, and even somebody who's never read one !

If you want to make comics, just do it and see where it leads. There is nothing stopping you and at 36 you should be now have realised that you can do anything you set your mind too and take your life in any direction you chose. You just have to want to head where you are going and you'll get there.
becky is right is never late to pursue your dreams

and i didnt say when im old i said older, hell i might have 50 years stillto learn drawing

You're such a nice person...

Lerts, they are really good. If those are really yours, go and find an art school... make something out of your talent.

However, i think you'd need some practise again (thinking about your drawings to explain your inventions...). Can you still draw like in those pictures you've posted here in this thread?
i dream with making comics flash gordon style

i would even work 8 hours a day if it was something creative

this pictures i made them when i was 16 and never painted again

but now if i practice hard i could tell in ten years stories about going to atlantean times trough wormholes or whatever comes to my mind

i think the month i made this drawings was the only time i ever painted

i alaways though i had no talent to become profesional however hard i tried

but now i realize like most things painting is 90%practice and 10 %talent

Ahah, makes sense now.

That's got to be Mika Häkkinen!

Nice drawings lerts!
You should start a webcomic. There's quite a few done by just drawing or painting and then scanning them.
Quote from Becky Rose :... I'm meating her at winter pride early next year ...

Becky, that's awfully forthcoming and revealing.

well i've got pics and chatted to her loads on the phone and stuff, and if I wasnt taken already I gotta say if it wasn't for that fact I always spell that wrong then it would be a freudian slip !

@Lerts: Get yourself a copy of Comic Life and a web site and throw stuff up there. Here's the latest instalment of mine. Web comics are dead easy to knock out, and with your 'active imagination' i'm sure you could come up with something pretty cool. I'll host it for you if you like.
Lerts is back?
